Not exactly, no. I’ve been a little preoccupied trying to find myself a place in town.
Ah, yes. The predicament has left us all in a state of limbo. I find my worry over the well being of our dear proprietor is becoming my overwhelming concern. Are you still struggling to find somewhere?

Why don’t we just stick with worrying about the health and safety of our boss and not the superficial things? Besides the fact that, oh I don’t know, it’s hard to work in a place that burned down. I mean, feel free to go stand on a pile of debris and sing to your heart’s content, but no one will care.
Oh, rest assured Penny dear, that’s my main concern. In fact, I’m dreadfully worried about Mr McIntosh. This is so... out of character for him. A man of his professional integrity leaving us in a predicament like this, the loss of the Hotel must be a tremendous blow.

I am struggling to get in touch with him through any capacity. He won’t answer his phone and Consulea just pulls this despicably sour face when asked. Nor is he on here. It’s peculiar and in a time of crisis like this, I think his leadership is necessary.
There’s also the lingering question of our employment and pay. Obviously.

This evacuation is has been nothing short of frustrating. Whoever has been tasked with fixing this gas leak has to be done by tomorrow. I am not missing a performance night.
Sometimes when I’m outside smoking and I toss a cigarette into the grass for Anderson to clean up I get worried that I’m eventually going to burn down the entire hotel.

Not a problem between “us” because I’ve been practically faultless in our exchanges. You’re aversion to the slightest lick of criticism seems to be our biggest roadblock. You wouldn’t expect such a hulking example of man to have such a fragile ego. Especially a chef.
One given to me by my mother and father? At least it’s not as pedestrian as David.

I’m not opposed to the notion. One common complaint (not that I’ve encountered, but others) is that employers never take enough time to become well-acquainted with their employees. I do enjoy demonstrating the opposite if and when possible.
A certain level of predictability should be present, however. Or perhaps “accountability” is a better-suited term for what I’m referring to. There needs to be trust that a situation will not escalate to unnecessarily unreasonable heights. If not, you risk stability, which is one of the last conditions I would ever wish.
Is more performance time something that you would be interested in? If so, I could talk to the stage manager regarding the possibility of offering such. The performances are actually the one area of the establishment that I’m the least familiar with, but this seems to be an appropriate time to rectify that.
It’s something I’ve always admired about you, honestly - how much you want to be on the pulse of your employees’ morale. It makes you a manager to be revered. Not many consider those below them so highly.
That trust and accountability is something I hope I have established and will continue display for you.
More spotlight for my talents is always appreciated. Please do, I would love to see you become more hands-on with our performance sector.
