Whilst I really enjoyed this chapter—the first chapter in a very long time—I just reallllly hope Akane isn’t just a deus machina—like please let there be a price to pay to fix this time mess, I don’t want everything to be magically fixed and all is well, and that’s that.

I want there to be a sacrifice—I want it that Akane has to sacrifice himself to help Nene fix it all—perhaps something along the lines of having to give up his humanity and stay a supernatural?

I want consequences.

I want a price. 🔪

Right!! And fortunately, I think the story is heading towards that direction. The circumstances of the moment Akane appeared and the way he looks all point towards the idea that he won't fix anything at all - maybe even add something to take care of instead. Plus Akane had all these death flags...this would be the perfect moment to make use of them...

This Akane is really intriguing me so I have really high hopes for upcoming events!!!

@brujc That’s so true, he looks very grim and somber in these panels!! Like maybe he does have to do something grave in order to right the present—and he would do anything to make sure Aoi’s present remains intact, in particular.

Also if he has something to add to the problems, that would be pretty interesting 👀

I will just be sooo disappointed though if nothing comes from this, there’s just only so many times AidaIro can tease major consequences just for nothing to happen 😭😭😭
