It's been a while since I painted ghost king Danny. I went with the aurora borealis crown this time. Also more animation experimentation with 2d and 3d stuff.
I struggled with the background a bit. Below is an alternative version, I can't decide what looks better.
So. I'm not a nitpicking person. I understand that mistakes can be made and typos are a thing and sometimes we are just not the kind of person that can make words work for a variety of reasons (dyslexia, for example).
This is not for that people.
This is for everyone who stumbled into this fandom by mistake and had learned things via osmosis and don't have the energy/time to check the source material for the "correct" thing.
Y'all are valid.
This is a cheat sheet of correct terms and fandom things that are not correct that I've seen in fics.
Disclaimer: while experimenting with canon is fun, this is just to lay down the rules of what's what so it can be the springboard of y'all's beautiful creations.
Given that some people just can't behave online: "If you don't have anything constructive to say, don't say anything." Did I say something wrong? You have resources better than this? You want to make a nitpick? Cool! More info to the mix — But come at me in a hurtful and insulting way and I'm blocking you on the spot.
[Will add more when I think more/have suggestions]
DP SIDE
Sam is Jewish
Sam is ultra-recyclo-vegetarian aka "doesn't eat anything with a face". Is not a real thing.
It's "Amity Park" not "Amity Ville".
Wes is fanon, same as Kyle. Info on Wes here
It's "Casper High", not "Caspar High".
Mr. Lancer doesn't have a canon name. Common fanon ones are William or Edward.
Ghost obsessions are fanon.
Same with ghost cores, which are fanon-ish (there is a mention that Danny's ice powers come from his "core" and is never addressed again, of course) (Episode is "Urban Jungle").
Danny beats the Ghost King Pariah Dark in combat, but faints and that fight is never addressed in the series again. Ghost King!Danny is fanon-ish so go ham with interpreting that. (Episode is "Reign Storm")
Tucker is the reincarnation?? (never stated in canon, but he does look alike) of a pharaoh named "Duul Aman" (Duulaman is also accepted as spelling). Said pharaoh never appears in the series as a ghost, just a picture. Who does appear is his (evil) right hand man, Hotep-Ra, who tries to manipulate Tucker (Episode is "King Tuck"). That Tucker gets cool magic from this event is fanon. But cool.
Sam gets possesed by Undergrowth via a vine straight into her spine (gross). Undergrowth calls her "his daughter" and she tries to lure Danny into "joining her to take over the world". (Episode is "Urban Jungle"). That Sam gets cool plant powers from this event is fanon. But cool.
The Fenton parents are never physically abusive - just comedically neglectful in the way parents are depicted in early 2000s cartoons. Incompetent, misguided, dumb... but they are shown to love their kids. The even accept Danny the 2 canon times they find out about him (Episodes "Reality Trip" and "Phantom Planet").
Jazz is never shown as "mature" in the sense that she had to parent Danny and be the responsible adult. She is comedically the "annoying and meddling older sister" from early 2000s cartoons. She wants to be considered an adult. She couldn't see Youngblood, who is a child ghost that cannot be seen by adults, and Danny had to push her into acting childish to make her see him.
Axiom labs is bought by Vlad's company "Vlad.co" not "DALV.co". DALV.co was the fake company that paid for Maddie and Danny to fly to a conference but stranded them in a forest where Vlad's cabin coincidentally was. (Episode "Maternal Instincts")
Dan is not even older Danny. He is not even called "Dan" in canon, just "Dark Danny". He is Danny's ghost half, who killed his human half, ate/merged with Vlad's ghost side and then tried to kill Vlad's human side. Was losing his humanity what made him evil? Was it merging with the Bad Guy(tm) of the series? 🤷♀️ Take it as you will. (Episode is "The Ultimate Enemy")
DC SIDE
Damian (not Damien or Demian) is never confirmed his religion. Fanon has accepted he is Muslim.
Bruce is from a Jewish family (Martha Wayne was Jewish), but he considers himself an atheist. Same with Kate Kane (Batwoman).
It's "Selina" Kyle, not "Selena" or "Salina".
It's "Talia" Al Ghul, not "Thalia".
It's "Jason", not "Jayson".
Damian is vegetarian, not vegan. It means he doesn't eat meat, but eats animal produces like eggs, milk, etc. He went vegetarian after rescuing Batcow from a slaughterhouse, he didn't arrive at the manor already being vegetarian.
Duke is NOT adopted. Bruce is fostering him temporarily and is more of a mentor to him than a father. Duke considers the others his siblings, though. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DUKE: Part 1 | Part 2
Dick was not adopted as a kid, Dick was Burce's ward. That term is not used anymore, though. Adoption happened later in Dick's adulthood.
It's Gotham, not "Gothem".
Cassandra IS adopted. Legally.
Cassandra's nickname is "Cass", not "Cassie". Cassie is the nickname of another character also named Cassandra (Cassandra Sandsmark, Wondergirl)
"Little Wing" is a canon nickname for Jason from Dick.
"Baby bird" or "Baby bat" are fanon-ish(?). Little Wing, Dickie, Dickie-bird... Canon! Jaylad is not canon, but Jaybird is canon! A GREAT post with receipts about all nicknames. ("Replacement" isn't canon btw).
Stephanie Brown was the 4th Robin. She is not adopted, and was part of the batfamily because she was dating Tim. She is still considered batfamily even if they are not dating anymore.
In Hush, when Jason comes back to Gotham, Jason puts a knife on Tim's throat, but barely leaves a cut. Tim's throat wasn't injured during the Titans Tower attack.
Cass is selectively mute because she wasn't taught any language beyond what she needed to predict people's movements. She doesn't know sign language. She doesn't know how to read and write (more recent comics show her reading a bit). But she could learn, with difficulty. Very in depth analysis of Cass' disability.
Jason's "Pit Madness" is fanon. Canon offers Ra's saying "the Pit alters the mind - could happen for a few days or for years, you never know" or something like that, and that's it. There is reason to believe that the Lazarus Pit can cloud judgement for a while but there is no voice in the back of the head or the Pit taking over.
Tim never expressed special interest in photography or in it as a hobby. Nor he is a coffee addict more than the other bats, who pull all nighters on the reg. He is actually addicted to energy drinks.
There are 2 main Conner/Kon-El/Superboy I portrayed in fics: Young Justice cartoon one (grumpy, same age as Dick, kind of an asshole, has daddy issues, wears black shirt and jeans, has a space motorcycle and a pet wolf) and 90s comics one (leather jacket, piercings, punny guy, same age as Tim, has a #nohomo relationship with Tim, kind of a himbo).
There are a few Ghost superheroes - Greta Hayes (Secret), she was in Tim's run as Young Justice's leader; and Boston Brand (Deadman), who is a member of Justice League Dark (with Constantine and Zatanna and Swamp Thing!). So the DC heroes are familiar with ghosts and ghost powers.
It's "rogues" gallery, not "rouge". Rouge means "red" in french.
Clark is never abusive to Conner, he just doesn't know what to do with him and chooses to ignore the problem; which, yeah, is mean, but not to the levels that fanon has taken it. And this is in the Young Justice cartoons, not across all depictions. In comics, they consider each other family and that's why Conner took a kryptonian name (Kon-El - of house of El, Kal's family)
The whole "No metas in Gotham" is not true. Batman understands that Gotham is very Fucked Up and that if you add metahumans and heroes with powers trying to do good to the mix it could make things worse. Outsiders don't understand Gotham and if they get jokerized or mind controlled, it will get ugly real quick. That's why Signal is cool beans! Duke is a gothamite through and through.
While is interesting that no one in the Batfam knows about Tim's missing spleen, is very probable that Alfred knows - post about this
Constantine is more powerful than it looks like. A post about interesting abilities.
Damian has a metal spine. Yeah I don't know how it works either. They used it as way for Talia to control Damian for a bit :(

Suggestions are welcome! Please be kind with each other and remember to have fun with this fandom!
I think “no metas in Gotham” spun around the fact that in some versions, Batman is very much against League members specifically coming to Gotham. Some people in fandom have taken this to mean that Batman does not like metas at all or is mean to them (he doesn’t, though one could argue he does get a little annoyed by magic).
Cass in Young Justice does seem to know *some* ASL. This is the only version I’ve seen of her that does (it’s a cool fandom thing though).
Superman & Conner in Young Justice do make up and seem to be on good terms later on when he’s older / about to marry M’gann.
As a whole tho def recommend checking everything out from OP post if you’ve never actually watched Danny Phantom but like the fics or read/write crossovers with DC without knowing much of the canon.
Thinking about Danny Phantom but as found footage/analogue horror. Like, it works SO incredibly well and I'm a bit obsessed.
Inexplicably grainy FentonWorks lab footage? A ghost dissection video log that gets more disturbing the longer it goes on? Ambiguous morality? Distorted imagery? Something being very, very wrong with the Fenton's son?
The proto-portal test footage from the 80s???? followed by hospital quarantine reports describing what a fatal dose of ecto-contaminants looks like? Which is then interrupted by Ṽ̵͇͍̓̒̕l̷̛͕̜̞̬͒̔͑̾̊͊a̷̝̰͕̗͇̣̓́́d̶̢̬̳̗̻̖̄̒̓̈́͌̚̕ ̴̡̛̱̱́́͆͠ͅw̷͎̬̠͒̐́̈́̈̇̚ā̵̢̢̛͔͙́͒̚͝k̴̡̹̘̻̜͇̬̍̏̄͂̊̀͠i̸̙͋͗̄ṅ̸̢̳̻̠̦̬͌̍͐͐̅͠g̶͇̥̮̦̗͑̃͘ ̶̨̏̈́̆͠ṳ̷͉̩̮̙̄̇͜p̸̧̡̹̗͇͘ and turning the hospital upside down?
ooh yes. that is such a good idea actually. found footage is basically a sort of outsider pov if you think about it which would make it even better. is it sam recording things on camera? is it the camera at the corner of the lab? a mixture of both? does danny disappear from the frame only to come back a few minutes later covered in a green substance and flickering at the edges? The possibilities.
Yeeeeessssssss. I’m not one for analog horror because I get scared easily but I would so totally read/watch/listen to this if it became a real thing! @lilianade-comics @jumping-mirrors hopefully I met expectations. This is my first time writing something like this. ^_^;;
I would imagine the whole series being a blog/podcast that Wes does. He’s posting snippets of archived videos and other content after they’ve all graduated high school. Wes is far more chill but is still obsessed with all things ghosts just more in the way of getting the town’s story out because things with the GIW are getting worse and worse. I think he would name it the Phantom Files or maybe A Normal Day in Amity Park. Idk those are the only two that pop up in my mind.
He runs a blog where he leaks real files from the GIW of various experiments. They range from curious facts to horrific experiments that tore the subject limb from limb and molecule from molecule. Wes will talk about these files in a podcast kind of episode. Sometimes he talks about his own experiences or stories from other people in town.
The most watched videos is a documentary made up of grainy hospital footage from Vlad’s visit and subsequent quarantine. The further along in the video you watch the more you can see as this sweet college student in an immense amount of pain turns into a charismatic megalomaniac. You watch in the span of less than an hour, as Vlad twists into his current form/personality. It’s quite jarring. Because in the beginning Vlad is this sweet boy in his mid twenties just in a lot of pain. He talks to the nurses and doctors in a manner that means he’s aware of his situation and that he doesn’t necessarily have a lot of time left. He gives them as much information as he can that he knows.
Then, slowly, you watch as his personality and mannerisms change. Gone is that sweet, and honestly scared, college student. Instead there stands a man that gives no care about how his actions affect those around him; only how it will benefit himself. The most jarring thing about the whole documentary isn’t the physical change Vlad goes through, no, it’s the way he treats people. Going from someone who is honest and caring to someone who is conniving and selfish.
Another popular video is Danny being turned into Phantom. There isn’t sound and was filmed in black and white. The angle isn’t the best but you watch as these three teens, two boys and one girl, walk into what looks like a sci-fi lab with a dark empty arch on the back wall. The teens laugh and joke for about ten minutes before they move closer over to the arch. The girl fiddles with some of the machinery as the boys watch on in a concerned manner.
The girl then convinces one of the boys to put on a hazmat suit and go inside of the dark, empty arch. As he goes in, the two waiting outside seem to keep talking to him. Then suddenly a bright light takes over the screen for exactly 6.43 seconds. When the light dies down the two teens that hadn’t gone in the arch look like they have some kind of burns left from whatever had just happened. (Look up ‘radiation injuries Chernobyl’ or ‘ww2 radiation burns’ for reference if you dare) what appears to be warning lights and what could be assumed to be sirens, are flashing. The teens flinch from the screeching sounds and bright strobing lights warning them of radiation exposure. A kind of possible detoxification liquid sprays down from the ceiling. The ambient glow of things surrounding the portal fades until nearly completely gone.
The third teen that had gone inside was now laying, unmoving, on the floor in front of what now looked to be a swirling portal of light. His coloration differed from when he had initially gone into the arch. The lad around the three teens looked to have been wreaked by whatever had happened that had produced the bright light.
The two other severely injured teens were trying to take care of their downed friend. For an agonizing six and a half minutes there was no response from the boy on the ground. And then, another bright flash. It wasn’t as bright as the first but enough to make the screen glitch and fuzz around the edges. Now the two other teens are face with their friend again but looking almost as he had before going into the arch. There’s yelling between the two and the other boy pulls out what looks to be a blocky phone and hopefully calls emergency services.
Several more minutes pass before paramedics are rushing down the staircase that’s barely in the shot. They take over caring for the still unconscious but at least breathing teen on the ground. The other two are whisked away from their friend to be tended to as well. Soon the three teens are carted out of the lab; leaving it empty. The portal glows ominously on the far back wall.
Aaaannd that’s all I got. :3 I may do a bit of research and turn this into a full fic. Idk it might not happen it’ll just depend on people’s reactions and what my muse grants me to do. -w-;; Also please pardon any grammatical errors or mistakes. I wrote this with a migraine. 🥲
Your timing of this reblog is impeccable! I've been thinking about this since making the og post. [SPOILERS] Just the other day i actually started working on a short, one-off DP analog horror vid. Shhh. I wasn't gonna say anything but *shrug* it's almost finished anyway. Keep an eye out.
Taking the blog approach is neat especially if this was treated like a multimedia project that really leans into what webpages looked like in 2004, and tbh I think Wes is the perfect outside character to use in this premise. ESPECIALLY if he's leaking footage and photographs stolen from the GIW, the Fentons, Vlad himself, etc. He's keeping himself anonymous, because hey. These are some dangerous enemies he's making, but the truth must be revealed...
Good stuff! I am very pleased that people seem to like the idea of DP concepts explored through this genre. If you feel inspired at all by any of this, please! Write a fic! Draw a spooky picture! Make a spooky video!!! I consider all of this a complete win!! <3
I'd like to preface this by saying I'm incorporating tropes I've seen in other posts.

Jason has been a lot happier recently. His Pit Rage has been getting less and less frequent, he's cooking and coming over to the manor a lot more, and he even let Dick hug him last week without threatening bodily harm!
The rest of the batfam, while happy for him, are curious about the change. So one night at dinner they ask him what's up with him and why he's so happy recently. Surprisingly, instead of taking it the wrong way and getting mad Jason is eager to share.
Apparently, Jason has a boyfriend now. Yay!
He goes on and on about this civilian he met after stoping a cult who was trying to summon a deity and how he is this nerdy college kid who really likes space and how their civilian identies shared the same Gen Ed course so he made an effort to become friends. Turns out that nerdy space guy had caused the initial improvement in mood and his offer to go on a date to an incredibly diverse and well-stocked library had been the cherry on top.
The only thing is that Jason didn't want them stalking the guy and refered to him around the family exclusively as "Angel". Everyone thinks that's just a cute pet name he gave the guy as a way to both reference and distract the civilian from the cult ritual he was probably rescued from. Little do they know that it's actually because "Angel" was not a victim of the cult ritual but the summonee, that appeared in the form of a biblically accurate angel.
One day some supernatural entity decideds to attack Gotham and everyone is calling whoever they can think of for back-up. Batman calls Constantine, Nightwing calls Zatana, Red Robin and Robin are contacting the Justice League, and even Red Hood seems to call someone.
The situation is getting desperate. The JL is here but at most the can just slow the supernatural being down. Constantine and Zatana are still 20 minutes out and things are looking bad when another Eldritch Being spawns and seems to take down the threat in one move.
Everyone stands stunned as the being turns to them and in a booming voice exclaims "DON'T BE AFRAID. I WAS CALLED TO HELP". They all go through several emotions upon hearing those words. Where did this being come from? Is this a biblically accurate angel? Who called it here to help? Was it Zatana or maybe Constantine? Are they here yet? Upon looking around it is found that Zatana and Constantine are not here yet and the heroes get ready to engage this being carefully when a voice calls out
"Angel!"
Everyone whips their heads around to see Jason climbing over debris towards the Eldritch Being in front of them. The Batfam feels faint with a creeping realization and Superman swears he heard Batman's heart skip a beat for a second. Before anyone can ask Jason what he's doing the being shapeshifts into the much smaller form of a young fae-like creature with pointed ears, fangs, stark white hair, and vibrant green eyes floating in the air. He flys over to Jason before a flash of bright light leaves a young man deep black hair and frosty blue eyes in Jason's arms.
Jason turns to introduce his boyfriend to his family and the League only to find that Batman has fainted, a panicking JL, and a gobsmacked Zatana and Constantine have who've arrived in time to see the transformation. As Zatana and Constantine begin to freak out and prepare defensive magic Batman comes to and levels a scowl at Jason.

The night was cold, lit up by bright moonlight. Danny's whole body was shaking as he flew to the area Danielle had described to him. He hoped that Danielle was somehow mistaken, that she hadn't actually seen dead bodies that looked like him, that whatever she saw was something else entirely.
He hoped there was a perfectly reasonable explanation for it. Something logical and justified.
But the violent shudders racking through him only intensified as he continued flying, getting closer and closer.
After a couple more miles, he stopped recognizing the terrain below and knew that he was well beyond city limits. Another mile, and he could see a huge house down below. A few of its windows were lit.
Was this one of Vlad's mansions? And was Vlad there right now?
He flew a little farther, scanning the ground for the plot of land Danielle had told him about. He spotted it, a large rectangular area of dirt surrounded by a high chain-link fence.
His heart quaked, and for a moment, he wondered if it would be better to turn around and fly home, forget about any of this, pretend that everything was just fine and there was nothing sinister happening behind his back.
He pulled in a deep breath and placed his arms out in front of him, balling his hands into fists as he forced himself to fly forward, down and down toward the plot of land, phasing through the fence.
The smell hit him first, assaulting his nostrils with something so pungent and rancid that he just about crashed into the ground. He covered his nose and gagged.
And then he saw the bodies.
Lined up in a row, numbered markers at the head of each.
Danny trembled as he stepped forward to investigate one of the bodies.
And he screamed when he saw his own face.
He fell backward onto the ground and kicked himself away, his back hitting the fence as he continued screaming.
Rotted flesh and broken bones, dried blood and sticky ectoplasm, bloated abdomens with organs spilling out, maggots crawling out of ears and wriggling in empty eye sockets—
Danny leaned over and retched, puking up everything in his stomach, bile and sick bubbling over the dirt. He continued dry heaving for several minutes, his empty stomach clenching up with pain. He felt his ghost form fizzle out, his focus to maintain it completely lost as he spit up more stomach acid.
The moonlight showed him everything, over a dozen corpses in various stages of decay, some in human form, others in ghost form with fragments that still glowed. A few that were completely skeletonized, others with skin and hair, a couple with open eyes that seemed to be staring at nothing, mouths fallen in soundless screams.
Danny saw his face in every single one, even the ones that were nothing but skulls surrounded by wisps of black or white hair.
He started hyperventilating, his body seized with tremors he couldn't calm. He clamped his hand over his nose and mouth, but nothing could keep out the putrid stench of death.
And in the moonlight, he could make out a few tattooed numbers on the arms of the corpses that still had skin. A black 16 on a human corpse, a white 21 on a ghost corpse.
This was done on purpose.
Someone did this to him.
Many, many times.
After a few minutes, Danny's stomach stopped lurching, and after another minute or so, he was in control of his breathing again. He drew in deep breaths through his mouth, each one shaking his lungs as he blew it back out.
Clones. Now that he could think a little more clearly, he was able to find the right word. These were clones, his clones. Someone had cloned him multiple times and then killed each one.
No, not someone. He knew exactly who.
Vlad.
Danny reached behind him and used the chain-link fence for support as he forced himself up onto his feet. He stumbled a few steps, nearly falling again as he grabbed the fence. The metal cut into the skin between his thumb and index finger, drawing blood that oozed and dripped.
He closed his eyes and focused all of his energy into transforming again. His molecules flickered and obeyed, switching over to their ghostly counterparts. He accessed his antigravity center and launched himself into the air, high above the fenced area, then toward the mansion about a mile away where he could still see the same lit windows.
But no matter how far away he flew, he could still smell the rotting corpses, could still see their mouths hanging open and silently screaming.
Things in Amity are going bad, the GIW are getting more aggressive and Jack and Maddie are starting to suspect there is something ghostly going on with Danny and Jazz is scared out of her mind and desperate to get them the hell out or dodge before she comes home one day to find her baby brother strapped to a table in the basement or worse.
She knows there's no way she's going to be able to get custody of Danny though (maybe she's still a minor herself, maybe she is over eighteen but it takes more than being a legal adult to get custody of a kid, and Jazz just doesn't have what the government is looking for and she can't risk Danny getting lost in the system) and even if she could, where could they possibly go? Even if they ran away, they don't have any way to survive.
Half out of her mind with stress and exhaustion late one night she ends up digging through their family tree looking for someone, anyone, that looks like they might be able to help, that could at least get them away from Amity Park if nothing else. She and Danny had each other, and literally anything was better then the nightmare creeping ever closer.
And somehow it doesn't even take that long, maybe luck finally shifting their way for once, maybe Clockwork nudging things along just right, but she finds someone.
As far as family relations go, they're on branches as far away from each other as possible while still being on the same tree. And of course the person in question has a pretty massive criminal background and is still super obviously involved in some shady stuff, but Jazz does her research and can see that - criminal mastermind or no - there's no history of vivisecting children or ghost hunting and honestly the Goonion review is pretty glowing.
Besides, Gotham's ambiant ectoplasm is about the same as Amity Park's, it'll help keep Danny (and her, really, as liminal as she is) healthy.
It's a long shot, but short of fleeing to the Ghost Zone and praying their parents don't chase after them, it's all she’s got. So, using one of Tucker's programs, she gets ahold of a phone number and makes the call.
To say that Oswald Cobblepot is surprised by her reaching out and suspicious of her desperate request would be an under statement.
But he knows a con, and this doesn't sound like one. The girl on the other end of the line sounds close to tears, begging him to hear her out, pleading for his help. When he has his people investigate he finds that Jasmine Fenton isn't lying. They are distant cousins - very distant - and the kids' parents are honestly Arkham levels of insane and the kids' teachers have been getting progressively more frantic in their reporting on their concerns. The notes on Daniel Fenton and the number of visible injuries he's been going to school with are particularly concerning. As is the fact that the Drs. Fenton are apparently scientists on top of being entirely mad.
Call Oswald a soft touch, but there's an old childhood wound deep in his heart that has him feeling for the kids, and from what he’s seen of Jasmine - Jazz, she said to call her, and her little brother is Danny, not Daniel - she's got the kind of drive he admires.
And hell it's not as if he can't afford to put them up in an apartment somewhere out of the way if they turn out to be too much trouble. Besides adopting a couple of sad kids from a shitty home can only be good for his reputation, look how well it worked for Bruce Wayne.
Maybe if he plays his cards right, he can set up a play date with the Wayne kids or something, really get some good networking in.
Au where like justice league believe Fenton's but are really against a species wide genocide.
And phantom? He is in a giw facility. Oh don't worry he is there on his own volition. He's there to find out about these investors that are funding this whole thing and high ranking officials. He can't really be hurt by them, as a new ancient of space he can just put an illusion in instead of his actual body. And everyone he finds he teleports out and replaced with an illusion.
And JL they see these government facility testing on beings. Not quite sentient but that doesn't mean they don't deserve rights!
So a raid party is assembled and the giw is raided.
They see a young boy unlike the other more animalistic beings. And they open the cage
"Ohh my good". What they weren't aware they could speak.
"I mean you have good intentions butttt"
"What? You can talk" a very surprised flash spouts.
"Oh right, bla bla bla obsessions! Uhh boxes OooooOooooo"
"I can't believe you ruined atleast 4 months of work"
"What?"
" Come on you saw these buffoons, you really think they could anything more than animals?"
" I spent 4 months acting more rabid than a hotdog unionizing and I was so close to finding all of the investors and executives"
Tony Stark thought the world couldn't surprise him anymore. Not after the Alien Invasion, or his tech coming back to kill him. With everything he's gone through by himself, or with the other Avengers, he figured there was nothing left.
That was until FRIDAY informed him of an intruder in his lab.
When Tony rushed in there, armor ready to go, he was met with something he wasn't expecting.
First, he didn't see anyone.
Then, there was the crying. A soft sound of sobs trying to be stifled.
Finally, he found his intruder.
A much too young girl curled beneath one of his tables, face streaked with tears and fear as she stared up at him with wide blue eyes.
That wasn't the shocking part. The absolutely terrifying thing was the fact she's melting.
Actually, wholeheartedly, melting before his eyes. Her pale skin blended with the strange glowing green substance dripping from her.
The fear Tony felt shifted immediately from terrified of what he'll find, to terrified for this little girl.
Mind already racing a mile a minute trying to piece together something. Anything. Anyway to stop this sobbing child from literally disintegrating before his eyes.
Before his brain could connect to his mouth, the little girl uttered out a desperate whisper.
"I need my dad, please."
