So when Bloomsbury were showing us the special editions of Kingdom of Ash, did anyone else notice that when they showed the exclusive page it said “Aelin Ashryver Whitethorn Galathynius”???
WHITETHORN
Friendly reminder post Infinity War
Friendly reminder that the odds are good that Clint’s kids (at least one), or his wife, died after Thanos destroyed half the universe.
Imagine him going to see his kids playing in the living room and seeing them gone.
Imagine his wife coming in, crying, saying they just vanished.
Imagine him getting a call from Tony or Steve, telling him that they failed.
Imagine his guilt.

Okay so a lot of characters dissipated in Infinity War, showing that they died but
BUT
Loki is the only one who didn’t—he actually got killed. Which could also mean that while the others could return (by some miracle in Avengers 4), he would probably not.
And why would Thanos specifically say, no resurrections? Because if it had been a trick, Loki would’ve joined the fight somehow. Which means he’s gone.
And he may never be coming back.
If you didn’t put the book down to calm yourself, you didn’t read it right.
Okay so like, this right here, this is why Tamlin is utterly horrible, in ways that the purely evil, villainous characters of acotar are not. People love making the argument that Tamlin didn’t know that Feyre was safe with Rhys, that he was traumatized too, that he thought he was helping. And yet…every other character who has been traumatized in this series (Feyre, Rhys, Mor, Cass, Lucien and Az) manages to…Not be an abusive asshole with no remorse. Yes, they make mistakes. But they don’t do what Tamlin is doing in this scene, which is to further abuse, humiliate, and seek to control Feyre, his victim. Even when faced with the facts that Feyre is safe and happy with Rhysand, and even when confronted with the truth of Rhysand’s character and the support she receives from the inner circle, he STILL acts abusively to her. So fuck the line of reasoning that says that from Tamlin’s PoV what he did was the right thing. Even when he learns the truth, even when faced with the raw facts, that Feysand is happily mated, HE IS STILL ABUSIVE TRASH. In ways that NONE of the other characters are. They all do bad things, yet Tamlin is pretty much the only one who seems incapable of controlling himself an acting
Like, the manipulation he tries to pull here SO CLOSELY mirrors Feyre’s own internal monologue in acomaf, where she is so worried about being “trash” for wanting Rhysand. And regardless of that, it’s also just SO GROSS. The whole used goods, women are ruined by the number of sexual partners they have thing is SO UTTERLY DISGUSTING AND CREEPY AND MISOGYNISTIC. LIKE. How in the ever living HELL do people defend Tamlin after this scene????
Also I’m living for Rhys taking away tam’s powers of speech so that he can’t finish spewing his poison at Feyre.
Also I love that Feysands relationship emphasizes that while you have to give your partner space to make their own choices it’s also nice to help them and defend them because being cared for is a positive thing and not everyone just exists independently without aid from others.
