I'm defining queerness as including slashiness (obviously) but also taking into account the amount of playing with gender roles in each ep. In other words, I don't just mean how gay is it but also how much does it play with gender? Does it have cross-dressing, m-preg etc?
For example, "Parallel Universe" isn't gayer than "Blue" IMO, but an argument can certainly be made that it's queerer if you think about it.
Queerest Red Dwarf Episode?
Balance Of Power (Rimmer impersonating KK1)
Me2 (the framing of Rimmer moving out as a break-up)
Better Than Life (Rimmer's fear of heterosexual marriage)
Parallel Universe (everything about it tbh)
Bodyswap (the plot is inherently queer, plus the girdle)
Dimension Jump ("Parading around in taffeta ballgowns...")
Quarantine (the gingham)
Demons & Angels (Low Rimmer)
Blue (the kiss, KK2 and Lister both missing their boyfriends)
Can Of Worms (Cat giving birth)
Timewave (this is how queer is it, not how good)
Skipper (Rimmer caring more about Captain Lister than Officer Rimmer's family)
