there was an anonymus message asking about my redesigns of Lee, Gaara amd Neji (given he lives) for the Epilogue (but is self-destructed somehow lol). not sure what's the Epilogue mean (is it the last chapter of Naruto manga or the last Naruto movie?) but anyway here's my fav trio reshaped XD
i was going to draw them in their 30s like in 700 manga chapter, but they came out a bit younger i think, at least Lee is.
so, what's happening here: Neji survived Jubi's attack and became a hero for protecting both princess Hinata and future hokage Naruto. after the war end Hyuga's devided system and hierarchy were abolished, Neji became a respectful member of Hyuga clan and is allowed to wear Hyuga clan's mon (emblem). he wears it at official ceremonies only. i see him in traditional japanese kimono-like shirt.
Lee is the constant with his silly green tights and leg weights, it's kinda hard to do smth different with his clothes, oh well! it's Lee as it is after all, doing Lee-things and challenge Neji on every ocasion (coz now he CAN, and Neji ows him a proper spar) :3
Gaara and Shukaku are friends now, and sometimes Shukaku releases himself to hang out freely. he's able to form as a small version of his huge self which is slightly-not-slightly dangerous for everyone around him coz the amount of energy he concentrates in such small body is just enormous and has to be veeeeery stable to not blow up (luckily, for the sake of everyone he's doing good). Shukaku roaming freely beside Gaara makes the last one to deal with the heat of sands around Suna without his biju's help, espessially from when "sometimes releases himself" turned into "everytime they travell". and since this could very well be a who-knows-how-many-days journey, Gaara prefers to be prepared wearing 2 layers of protection cloth like nonstop. he found out he hates heat (to which he wasn't prepared at all). this is also a reason his hair are super short now.
