Been thinking about how Caine's four fingers would fit perfectly between the spaces of mine

I made this before a couple days before I watched the tadc movie. I wanted to make something related to my selfship with Caine before I went to the theater.

I incredibly anxious at the time, and couldn't make any polished art. So I just digitally colored a sketch I already had. Doing so really comforted me. It was like Caine was supporting me regardless of whatever happened. I had a feeling the movie could potentially change my brain chemistry, so I really needed that support

Finally posting this as my last artwork before the finale drops on youtube made sense to me. To have that support again before the fandom and perception of the show potentially changes forever.

me ever since June 4th when I watched the last act in theaters

spoiler free yap about my theater experience below

I'll treasure the memory of that night forever. Experiencing it for the first time with other fans and hearing other's reaction was amazing. Very happy that my theater was very respectful.

I wish I was able to stay afterwards to chat with other fans, but my ride was waiting for me. I was luckily able to talk a little with some people before hand tho!

I felt a sort of catharsis leaving the theater, which thinking back was probably since I was crying nonstop for the last 20-30 minutes lol

The movie was so good that I legit didn't sleep the night after watching it

I went back on June 7th cause it took over my brain and I had to see it again.

I'm so grateful I was able to go again even though the second viewing wasn't as fun. There was a couple small disruptions during episode 8 but were handled and everything was fine during episode 9. Though I was surprised that there were no reactions from the rest of the theater. Like at all, even the parts that got big reactions during my first theater viewing. Still glad I was able to go.

I brought my Caine plushie with me during my second viewing! I didn't bring him the first time, cause I was anxious something would happen to him. He did get a little dirty but it was worth it since I really wanted him to see how the show ended.

Luckily I had my sister's Pomni plush to give me emotional support the first go around. It felt thematically correct that she was able to help. Sorry that I cried on you girl

I have so many things to say about the finale, that will have to wait until the 19th 🫡
