after a lot of work here's RUN, RUN, RACER! in its final form! one huge pdf all together in one place, plus some bonus sketches i threw in to serve as divider pages :D this project can finally be put to rest!

…I have SO many thoughts about the ending it’s not even funny, dawg we get introduced to the COOLEST FUCKING CHARACTER AND SHES THERE FOR A CHAPTERRRRE!! ONNNEEEEE CHAPTERRR!! (Her mentions don’t COUNT)

AUGHHH THE SIBLINGS DONT EVEN GET TO INTERACTTTTTT THIS ISNT FAIRRRRR!!

On that note—my meltdown from like April, yes I’m still that mad, was really aimed at the wrong people. I’m taking down WEBTOON for axing it and I really just feel bad for the creators now, I’m sure they were just as upset as the readers the story had to wrap up faster than intended…

Rather than a rewrite, I’d like to basically just do little drabbles for the characters, like how Ludwig and Carlos might make up, how Lythian might be dealt with, THE ROMANCE BETWEEN PLANUS AND CYANNNNN AUGHHHHHHHH!!! I’M SOOO MADDD MY STORYYYYY MY LITTLE GUYSSSS YOUVE BEEN DONE SO WRONGGG I WANTED AN ANIMEEEEEE!!!!

The afterword pictures were really cute, I loved the lineless art one it was SO scrumptious and sooo pretty, I hope the artist have better luck in the future, they really didn’t deserve this 😭

And what a beautiful song it’s made… honestly there’s not much of an idea I just had the vision to make this in my head 🤔 I just really liked that one shot in g1 of Soundwave using his telepathy is all, the way his hands (and dock) glowed during that… makes me kinda realize maybe that’s where Earthspark’s whole hand ability thing comes from 🤔

Cuz if I recall his function in that isn’t exactly sound, it’s Electromagnetic attacks but I guess it’s also partially sound? But mostly EM and you can see that from how he deactivates tech and barriers in the show with it (which as known, Soundwave’s telepathy is worded as scanning EM as well) err anyways sorry for the rant I just find Soundwave’s EM related abilities to be really cool to analyze on a functional level

sorry for the late post again!! i have been getting everything togethr to package the comics....nothing much else to say except i had the most fun with the art for this part making sure everybody got some time to aura farm :) tw blood murder eyestrain and airachnid

LOOK AT MY YURI BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKDFK i really really realy like it when both characters in a relationship ar cringefail losers like alr bro😭yuri so cooked its just dust in the wind atp BROOOOOOOO😭

my favourite bit in this entire chapter is when arcee shouts “RELOAD!” and sideswipe throws like fifteen different guns at her. remember kids switching guns is always faster than reloading

sorry for the very late post! i was away from my laptop for most of the evening...folding cardboard for the comics.....folding a lot of cardboard...

not much else to say except i especially enjoyed writing the dynamics in this part!

to me arcee is such an incredibly sad character, her entire person is conceived around fighting in this millennia war, and the promise of a hangout with her friend is inconceivably small in the face of the grand sweeping stakes of fighting for her faction, but at this point it's genuinely the little things that still gives her something to live for.

at last! at long long last!! I present!! This Horrible Thing! this entire series is actually a direct sequel to this Valentine’s Day comic!

next part will be up tomorrow! THE NEXT PART GENUINELY GETS SO SERIOUS I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THAT HAPPENED.

airachnid’s collection is of course based on transformers prime! I always thought her being a collector was such a fun part of her character :)
