I'm pretty new to fandroid lore and u seem to know what's going on so- uh, do you wanna talk about the basics? No pressure obviously fjnffhfn- I just can't glean much from the wikis alone

oh, hey!!!

alright so. fandroid (and most of the robots in the story) was created by a facility called ADHOC. Fandroid is the product of a LOOONG line of prototypes (enough to fill an entire PIT as seen in the early days of the roleplay). Other characters, BP-0, Frogbot and Fandrew are shown to be these prototypes (all with differing opinions on their situation being, you know, incomplete.) ADHOC has some pretty shady practices, being both a robotics company and a military facility. it's implied Fandroid (and all the other robots) were treated very poorly. (and still, fandroid insists his creators were kind. food for thought.)

Somewhere around 2020ish, all the human scientists at ADHOC suddenly died. It's unknown what happened, but robots rule the place now. They're locked in what's essentially a tomb, fulfilling their Purpose (to entertain) until the end of time. A robot's Purpose is very important to their character and role in the story.

Recently, it was revealed robots around ADHOC have been going missing. A new character called 404 is taking them apart and trying to rebuild himself. Violently.
