you know, when I think about it I really don’t dislike Zack or Zack/Aerith

what I dislike — and this originates in part with Crisis Core itself — is things which were originally exclusively and iconically character traits of Aerith herself (her theme music, her style of dress, her ribbon, her profession) being attributed to Zack

that truly does piss me off a lot for reasons that should go without saying but let me be explicit: it’s misogynistic and disgusting to take everything from an iconic female character and bestow it on a male character who was basically an extra in the story which originated her as if she is a supporting character in his story and not vice versa

I don't know why you as a person are getting a lot of hate. I keep seeing your name being mentioned in Twitter, etc as the villain of the ff7 shipfandom. But I'm glad you are dedicated to Clerith and sharing Clerith news & thoughts. I was able to see many Clerith stuff from outside the game that I wouldn't have come across if not for your blog. And I'm glad the Clerith community is active! I can't wait for the Remake and more Clerith goodies. Thank you for your hard work & support!

the reason? because, like you said, i’m spreading clerith facts/news around the internet. they also do it to @dansantcaparet​, too. it’s not just me that suffers this, i just happen to be the only target around right now. if i vanished from the fandom tomorrow, and someone else took over and started writing essays and stuff, they’d find ways to demonize them, too.

these clowns don’t want anyone to ship clerith, they take it as a personal affront whenever they find out that not everyone ships their waifu with cloud. they used to do this to every clerith that wrote essays or dedicated their online time to the LTD. 

 but even that has changed. these clowns are attacking any “normie” clerith fans, too. basically anyone that dares to even say they like cloud x aerith. even if they don’t actively participate in fandoms, anyone that makes a passing clerith comment is attacked. these clowns think that if they can bully our fandom into submission that will make clowti canon somehow. it won’t, it hasn’t, and it never will.

but, you know what? i don’t care. they can piss and moan all they want. whenever i hear that i’ve managed to spread clerith facts that would otherwise have gone unheard of, it makes all of these smears and all of the harassment worth it. i started this blog so i could do exactly that. spread clerith facts to those that have been misled and have no way to access the information. i didn’t know it would garner so much hate then, but i would have opened my blog regardless just because of all the support from the clerith fandom.

anyway, thank you so much for the support, i appreciate it so much. please always keep on supporting clerith, i can only keep my blog going because of the whole fandom stays active

Yes, they’re official. They’re from the FF30th anniversary celebration that Nojima participated in, the one where they made a special FF7R gallery themed around Cloud and Aerith. He wrote new lines for Aerith and everything. And this quote comes from the official books for that event. So he supervised these quotes, but also may have even written them himself. At any rate, they’re just as canon as the Ultimanias so if Clowtis dismiss this, they dismiss all of them. But yes, it does nuke a lot of CT misconceptions. It was always in the original game. It was Aerith that made Cloud even care about the planet, it was Aerith that constantly hinted at his “true” self, it was Aerith that tried to get Cloud to fix himself instead of focusing on the fight for the planet, and it was Aerith that Cloud said “I know Aerith saw the real me that night on the Gondola.” about (Itadaki Street FF30th game). Clowtis just misunderstood T*fa’s presence/purpose during the Lifestream scene.

For one, that was T*fa’s redemption arc. It’s when she (sort of) realizes her own mistakes and tries to make up for them by *finally* staying by Cloud’s side and *trying* to help aid him during the Lifestream event. However, just as T*fa says herself, she didn’t actually do anything to help Cloud, it was all because of Cloud’s own self that he regained his true memories.

Another thing people don’t understand is that T*fa is literally our only option. T*fa was there to act as the POV for the players. That’s it. Who else could it have been at that time? Any other teammate would make no sense. T*fa was literally the last option. Had Aerith lived, none of that would have happened, but if it did, Aerith could have done it herself. T*fa was merely there by chance, and because the devs needed a POV for players to follow so we could actually *see* the scene. She wasn’t there because she was needed or because she had any effect on Cloud regaining his true self. 

As the above quote says, that was Aerith. She saw through to the real Cloud, tried to fix it, and died trying to make sure Cloud could take care of his own mental health, and then it was because of Aerith that Cloud was protected, and was also the only way Tifa even managed to make it into Cloud’s mind safely. Take Aerith out of the picture, and Tifa would have suffered the same mako poisoning.

Aerith Gainsborough moves on from Zack Fair and loves Cloud Strife more than Zack. Zack is Aerith’s first love, Cloud is Aerith’s second love. People have more than one love in a lifetime.

They’re been canonly called lovers in 4 traduction, and again as for the spanish and french version you can’t use this word if it’s one sided (I can’t say for the german/japanese one cause I don’t know those languages), it’s exacly like using “husband/wife” for a one sided relationship, you can’t, there is litterally no way you can’t, even if (and I know that) case of lifestream is from Aerith’s perspective, it’s impossible for someone to say “c’est mon amant/amante” (it’s my lover) if the other one is not aware of it, you-just-can’t.

Dude I’m a psychologist doesn’t mean I act all my life like one, I’m not a therapist 100% of my time, like a doctor isn’t going to check on people all of his time, that’s my job, not my life :’)

Yes I’m far superior than you but not because I’m a psychologist, just because that’s not very difficult, 99.9% of the people here are, if you wants to know what kind of psychologist I am I can answer, I’m a work/social psychologist but I don’t assume you know exactly what it is so whatever. 

I told you I was a psychologist because you assume you knew better than me what’s a depression and you clearly don’t that’s all, you’re acting like a depressed toddler with no meaning in your life, but that’s ok since a 4 YO doesn’t live for anything else than eating, playing and sleeping and I suppose if you ad social media it would look like a lot like your life. But that’s ok dw. People like you are going to grew one day and realise how you were stupid back then and that’s ok too, maturity can come a bit later for some people that’s pretty normal.
