Wanting to avoid everyone was proving to be more difficult than Albel had ever expected. What ever sort of experiment they were planning to use the people they had kidnapped here for aside from the linking, if there was more, couldn’t possibly be as tedious as just being here in general. Having only one hand that was useful outside of combat aching so much only made this more tedious. He hadn’t had a chance to eat since arriving here, and although he could still manage most things but attempting to cook something seemed practically out of the question.
Luckily enough with all of the people swarming about the building it was easy enough to locate someone. Managing to get someone to do his bidding didn’t seem like it would be all to difficult either.
Just adjacent to him stood someone who appeared to be alone, which was enough of an invitation as any. Wearily he placed his hand on the man’s shoulder to get his attention, and drew it back to his side immediately following the contact.
❝ You… find me something to eat. ❞ He didn’t even begin to know where the kitchen was. Or.. how to cook. Or even if this person was capable of doing so, but he at least looked as though he could be of use, people with kind faces tended to be after all. Nevertheless, Albel decides to hold back on his usual insulting until he gets his way. ❝ I haven’t eaten since coming here so I don’t feel like waiting around for you to make something. An apple would be fine. ❞
Soramaru had been heading towards the kitchenette to make himself a small snack, mostly due to boredom when he noticed the hand move and place itself on his shoulder, he squinted a bit, confused. The arrogant tone the other male held had him a tiny bit annoyed but he shrugged it off, figuring it'd be best not to fight with anyone during his stay.
"Sure, your highness." He grumbled softly as he started heading into the kitchen once more. He grabbed two plump, red apples and walked back out, handing one to the taller of the two. "So, what's with you? Are you used to ordering people around?" The question was more out of curiosity then it was to insult, since he knew different types of people had come from different places.
To be honest, this guy looked a bit like a fighter, not someone Soramaru really wanted to tussle with if he had the choice. That wouldn't stop him from trying to become acquainted, though, since it was better to know who you were up against in a strange place.
