my new boy that ive been drawing up - lore (Basically during a battle with eggman ( not nice eggman ) Sonic is trying to take all the attention from tails who was working disabling eggman’s tech but instead of paying attention to Sonic he diverts his full attention to tails injuring him, Sonic in a panic stops caring about his own safety in order to keep tails safe and during the time he was protecting tails and getting him away eggman was able to severely injure Sonic taking his arm and knocking him out in the process taking him and leaving tails there by himself. After taking him eggman proceeds to experiment on Sonic) dumbed down version of his lore

sonic is shadow’s caretaker at an uber state of the art aquarium with shadow as their main attraction (his species for now remains unknown) but shadow yearns to leave this tank after sonic told him about his life outside of being a marine specialist! shadow who had once yearned for knowledge had his spirits crushed until sonic came around! they had a rocky start but now sonic is the only person shadow is willing to give the time of day to.
