You were in in the majority
You knew you had the power to stop them
And you just stood there and watched as they pleaded for your help
Because it’s too much effort for too little reward?
These two saw you as their Friends!
They always welcomed you into their heart and supported you, but forbid they demand saviour for once
Because their just two speckles of sand in a desert, right?
“And what difference do two less stars in the Night sky make”
That was your excuse, wasn’t it?
Didn’t their life hold any meaning?
Were all these memories they held just for nothing?
Because as soon as an individual doesn’t meet your expectations they’re suddenly worth less?
Just because they also wanted to experience their own life for once, and not only live for the sake of others?
Because they didn’t serve your needs anymore?
That suddenly made them from someone to no one?
Something to just discard when they start making their own choices?
I’m ashamed to even share the same body as you do
The nerve to even market yourself as “saviors”,
when clearly savior seems to come with a payment now
You say you fight against the evils of this world,
yet you are no better than the one you claim your enemy
But what does it matter to know now, when they’re already gone
They’re gone and I’ll never get them back
You didn’t even leave me the memory of their voice..
My life is gonna miss a piece of myself forever and you don’t care
Because I’m just another speckle of sand in your eyes
A star too little to be worthy of being noticed . . . »
