continuing on the topic of hayden and the parasocial relationships some of his fangirls have with him, i'd also like to add that there's a difference between writing fics about him and being genuinely obsessed with him in real life, competing with other fangirls for the title of the best one and behaving as if you're in a long-distance relationship with him. i think a lot of people here understand what i'm talking about (⸝⸝๑﹏๑⸝⸝)

but i separate fanfiction from real life. i don't want to do any of the things i write about with hayden. and i don't fantasize about him, when i write/read smut, as a real person- i think of him purely as my own projection, my own idea of him, if that makes sense. but i have never thought of myself as his girlfriend who he just doesn't know about yet, and i've never lashed out at anyone over it...

as someone already wrote, it's frightening when the only thing in your life is a hyperfixation on one person... and coming back to the topic of cons, i wanted to say again that hayden agreeing to some of those poses doesn't make it any less weird, 'cause, well, why did that even cross your mind in the first place? it just comes across as harassment that you justify with "he didn't say no," and it's actually YOU taking advantage of the fact that he's "supposed to feel the love of his fans," and that's a little (a lot) disgusting. and yes, this absolutely needs to be talked about, because it's not normal. some time ago everyone here was writing about some girl who stalked hayden (can't remember her name), and trust me, you never know if you're capable of losing your mind to that extent or not, so be careful with the illusions you feed yourself!
