Fun Odyssey headcannon.

While the Odyssey video series isn’t cannon, I’d like to imagine the kids featured in it (Sal, Dylan, Carter, ETC) still exist somewhere in the radio drama world.

The Odyssey videos do exist in universe, so maybe Whit based some of the characters off of local kids he knew, that we never see.

also another fun head cannon, maybe Sherman was a dog Whit used to have, but has since died. Whit might have then decided to put him in the Odyssey videos as a tribute.

B-TV grace is pretty good, I like the B-TV episode

Telltale Cat, which got pulled for being violent, is also a decent parody of The Telltale heart, and the message makes it clear that you shouldn’t dump cats in rivers so I don’t get why it was pulled

I thought Stick and Stones had a good message about not letting insults get to you. I never got when people criticized stories about insults being bad for having insults in them. If a kid payed attention to the story, they wont repeat them!

Career Moves was also a pretty good episode with a nice message about honesty.

I totally agree they should release them, it’s nothing too crazy. Although, I will say that for me the difference I felt between Sticks and Stones and say, an episode like War of the Words which also deals with insults (in a way), was that in Sticks and Stones the insults were far less creative and just felt plain life damaging. The consequences of saying stuff like what was said were so great it just wasn’t worth the risk. Even Rodney points out that it doesn’t matter if the insults are true, as long as he keeps saying them, he and everyone else is going to believe them eventually. And I know that for some people, little things can get to you and live with you in your head for years, despite your efforts to make them go away.

Still think they should release it tho, like I said. It has some great stuff, including the Bart flashback where Steve plays him? Absolute GOLD.

Honestly I see your point about the insults, If a kid repeats negative comments about ones body weight, that would definitely be way more harmful then calling someone a milijoint.

And while im on the subject, milijoint is such a good fake cuss word, I dont know why but it’s so funny to me
