soleil was in a nearby town, looking for some girls to chat up. to her disappointment, she wasn’t seeing many. since she was having no luck, the mercenary decided to buy a snack.

nohr wasn’t known for its produce, so she arrived at a stand filled with very few and very interesting food items. she tapped her chin thoughtfully as her gaze wandered over to a man who was also looking at the produce.

however, he did not look like he was from nohr.

“interesting stuff, eh?”

“….” the hooded figure didn’t say anything. He didn’t even seem to react to her question, except for looking in her direction. After an awkward pause, he finally said something, although not much. “Yeah…”

soleil was trying to dance again, yet again failing, on the outskirts of camp. she was feeling rather peppy today, so she decided to give it a try. but, like always, she couldn’t find a sense of rhythm.

heaving a little sigh, she turned around and froze. kana was sitting on the ground, watching her.

“kana!” soleil greeted, her face going red. “how are you.. how long were you watching?” she asked, laughing nervously.

Kana had followed her out into the forest when she first went out to practice. She had wanted to ask if she’d come play with her, though she never had the chance.
