Thought my fever broke yesterday since I spent the entire afternoon under 99’ but woke up this morning with a 102.1’ fever. So here I am at #UrgentCare. Great way to start the morning! Side note, they have the #TotalGym Infomercial on with Chuck Norris. I can’t believe Chuck Norris is still pitching that machine but I love that he refers to his biceps as guns. #ChuckNorris #twoticketstothegunshow And yes, I’m so delirious from this fever I’m actually thinking of buying one. It’s only like 45 payments of $14.95!! That’s a hell of a deal. Also, thank you to all my friends and fam who checked in on me or “pressured” me to go the doctor. I truly appreciate it!! 🙏🙏❤️

The look on my face last night might not have properly shown how grateful and excited I was to receive another strip towards my blue belt from my coach @kristianwoodmansee ...Its been a rough few weeks health wise for me which definitely impacted my ability to train, so this was definitely unexpected. Truly thankfully and grateful to have a coach who not only motivates me and all my #RootsFam but also sees progress in each of us even on nights when we feel like we are struggling. Sitting in #LAX until 7:30pm waiting for my red eye home and this came on while I was scrolling through Instagram and seeing all them #bluebelt promotions at @rootsathletics ..... I’m so grateful to be a part of such a great #bjjfamily and so happy to see those guys level up. All of them are such positive and great teammates, who are always encouraging and helping others. Still can’t believe this happened last night but last night my Jiu Jitsu coach @kristianwoodmansee surprised me with not one but two stripes! #firstjiujitsutournament @goodfighttournament #thegoodfighttournament 1-1 on the day. Made a lot of mistakes in my first match but overall a great learning experience. Can’t wait to get back on the mat. Want to thank all my @rootsathletics fam who came out and competed along side me and supported me @mkelchbjj @jimrny.
