blue
Blue’s body was still sore, she could play it off all she wanted in her humanoid form, but when she shifted back to her lion form the pain came full force. Sure it had been awhile, but she crashed into the water dropping from the sky like a comet and the pressure from the water at the rate she fell damaged her a bit. She wasn’t about to tell her siblings or the paladins that though; they’d only worry.
It wasn’t really intentional for her to rumble releasing some of the pain vocally, but it helped. She had only realized she had company when she heard a whine directly in front of her; Keith’s wolf. She made a more high pitched whine in unison hoping it’d make the wolf forget her earlier cry.
doubt rests clear in sharp eyes , disbelief evident as the lion is regarded . he knows not what caused the feeling ( discomfort ? pain ? ) yet his inability to provide aid weighs heavy on strong shoulders . rather than understanding , it is a disgruntled , low grumble that pours from his throat , a question , desiring an answer . a great many think the lions to be impervious , machines and naught else - - not only kosmo but the paladins know different , can sense the soul , the heart .
between them , silence stretches , though soon the tapping of claws on polished floor fills the space - - he turns to the hangar’s door , glance cast behind him , a silent threat of sorts ( though he himself cannot provide aid , without doubt their companions can . )
