I see so many women wanting to play this game of football but training is minimal. Many women who play football want the respect on that NFL Level yet the lack of knowledge, lack of discipline.

dis·ci·pline: The practice of training people to obey rules or a code of behavior, using punishment to correct disobedience.

synonyms: control, training, teaching, instruction, regulation, direction, order, authority, rule, strictness, a firm hand.

I see women season after season coming in heavier and heavier, not stronger, not faster, but Fatter and Fatter which means slower, weaker, untrained, undisciplined, unmotivated talking about a championship yet unwilling to put in the real work it takes to highten their game. When I 1st starting playing back in 2003 we put in work. We were treated like an executive team, We practiced hard as a team, We dressed like a team, We bleed as a team. Don't get me wrong things were not perfect but everyone knew when you showed up too practice you better be ready. My last season of playing 2016. I'm so tired with people talking about what they want but refusing to put in the work. Doing a more popwarner approach then NFL Draft approach.

All these women talking about how women's football needs to be television but how does anyone expect that when there are so many coaches so many players who think it ok to show up in January when 1st game is end of March 1st week of April Unprepared scrambling with over 70% of the roster being rookies thinking they have a championship team. Wrong wrong wrong wrong. 1st scrimmage these teams usually loose 30% of their so called untrained championship squad.

Reconditioning the minds, restructuring the way women's football allows teams to develop needs to happen. You can't say you demand respect when there is such a huge lack of discipline. Dis·ci·pline. Untrained staff and personnel.

CAULIFLOWER TORTILLAS Eating your two cups of veggies per lunch and supper everyday can get boring fast, but not when you have recipes like these yummy cauliflower tortillas! (Don’t forget to add your eggs in for protein count: 2 eggs= approx. 3oz) SOURCE:  RecipeGirl.com (lightly adapted with permission from The Slim Palate Cookbook by Joshua Weissman- Copyright 2014, Victory Belt Publishing, Inc.) Yield: 6 small tortillas Prep Time: 30 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes INGREDIENTS: • Small head of cauliflower • 2 large eggs • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro • juice from ½ lime (add the zest too if you want more of a lime flavor) • salt and pepper, to taste DIRECTIONS: 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. Trim the cauliflower, cut it into small, uniform pieces, and pulse in a food processor in batches until you get a couscous-like consistency. The finely riced cauliflower should make about 2 cups packed. 3. Place the cauliflower in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 2 minutes, then stir and microwave again for another 2 minutes. Place the cauliflower in a fine cheesecloth or thin dishtowel and squeeze out as much liquid as possible, being careful not to burn yourself. Dishwashing gloves are suggested as it is very hot. 4. In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs. Add in cauliflower, cilantro, lime, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined. Use your hands to shape 6 small “tortillas” on the parchment paper. 5. Bake for 10 minutes, carefully flip each tortilla, and return to the oven for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until completely set. Place tortillas on a wire rack to cool slightly. 6. Heat a medium-sized skillet on medium. Place a baked tortilla in the pan, pressing down slightly, and brown for 1 to 2 minutes on each side. Repeat with remaining tortillas. TIPS: • You can munch these by themselves or add some taco filling and fold it like a taco to get your full supper meal.

Cheesy Cauliflower Breadstcks 

INGREDIENTS

1 medium head cauliflower

1 egg, beaten

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided in half

½ cup shredded parmesan cheese

4-6 fresh basil leaves, finely chopped (or 1.5 tsp dried basil)

2 cloves of garlic, minced (or ½ tsp garlic powder)

1 teaspoon dried oregano

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Rinse and chop cauliflower into florets.

In a blender or food processor, pulse cauliflower until it has a “rice” consistency.

Heat about 1 inch of water in a large saucepan until it boils.

Add the cauliflower and cover with a lid. Steam for about 5 minutes and remove from heat.

Drain the cauliflower in a fine mesh strainer, pressing against edges with a spatula. Let it cool for a few minutes.

Place cauliflower in a clean dish towel and wring out as much excess water as possible.

In a large bowl, add cauliflower, ½ cup mozzarella cheese, 1 egg, garlic, chopped basil, and oregano. Stir well.

On baking sheet lined with parchment paper, use your hands to form the cauliflower mixture into a rectangle covering just about the whole pan.

Bake for 30 minutes, until crust is golden brown. Remove from heat.

Top crust with the rest of your mozzarella and parmesan cheese, and bake for another 7-10 minutes. (Once cheese is melted.)

Remove from heat, and cut into “breadsticks” with a pizza cutter.

Serve warm with marinara sauce and enjoy!
