15 Days to Finish Your Fic (for Kika)
Our fandom is mourning the loss of Kristin Rouse, who some of you knew as baronesskika or Kika. She was a wildly talented and prolific writer, but more importantly a caring woman who supported and befriended many of us in the community as we first started out.
It’s that warm and welcoming spirit that we would like to honor with an event she started years ago: 15 Days to Finish Your Fic.
The concept is simple: either finish an everlark work in progress that you could never quite get the motivation to complete, or write a one-shot that’s always been on your mind. Artwork will also be accepted.
We would also like to ask, if you are able, to please consider one of these options in honor of Kristin:
a gofundme that supports her daughter and husband
buy a copy of her book The Fix
a donation to the Denver Zoo (a place that was dear to Kristin and her family)
We don’t need to see receipts. Just do whatever is in your heart.
Rules: There won’t be direct submissions to our blog this time around. To make this as simple as possible, just @promptsinpanem in your own post so that we can reblog it here to PiP (tags are not always reliable). We do ask that you use this format for stories before we will reblog the post:
