“My deepest desire has always been to play Kylo as a human being and not as a machine. I fought so that we could feel some compassion for him, despite his horrible choices.”
— Adam Driver
#i love you
This is THE platonic epic love story of the trilogy. Luke and Vader are forever, but Han and Ben are just SO REAL, SO PAINFUL, SO TRAGIC. Han’s True Love was his son, hands down. I can’t…
Don’t let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief shining moment, that was known as Reylo.
Reylo is canon and always will be canon
The really frustrating thing is I can't even really blame John for being salty. Doing it on Twitter seems like a bad career move, but whatever. I don't like the way Reylo was handled in this movie either, and it's the fault of the writers and production. And the second they "announced" Finnpoe wasn't happening I knew Reylo was going to get blamed.
You know how the entire HP fandom has divorced itself from JK Rowling? I'm ready to do that with literally the entire cast and crew of the sequel trilogy.
so that was a lie
'I know' .
Reblog to have Carrie Fisher blow you a kiss
Star Wars Episode IX? Never heard of it.
That's why she is my favorite author.
I imagine death so much it feels more like a memory
“when will it be perfect?”
Redeemed Ben Solo was hotter than the surface of the sun. I said what I said.
I can't get over how terrible the Tatooine scene is. Like, set aside the fact that Ben should have lived, or at least appeared as a Force Ghost. Set aside that this trilogy starts with a girl alone in the desert and ends with a girl alone in the desert. Set aside that adopting the name Skywalker means she's still alone, because they're all dead.
Leia never lived on Tatooine. Luke lived there, but that wasn't his lightsaber, it was Anakin's, and Anakin was a SLAVE on Tatooine. Concluding the Skywalker saga by leaving those two lightsabers there conveys an almost laughable lack of understanding of the entire saga.
Force Ghost Anakin is going to haunt his grandson's girlfriend for the rest of time.
a concept
Ben Solo, smooth Jedi Knight, who has definitely never ever used the Force to help his dad with smuggling jobs on the side, because that would be wROnG. Ben Solo, who can't even be accused of receiving nepotism, because he's the greatest student ever known. Ben Solo, who flies home every standard year cycle for his mother's birthday. Ben Solo, who meets the young heiress to the First Order and, in a moment of complete incompetence, falls completely in love with her.
Luke: "Knight Solo, were you able to steal the map back from those Stormtroopers flanking Rey Palpatine?"
Ben: *awkwardly, scratching head* Listen, you didn't mention she was pretty.
Get you a man that looks at you like this
And don’t settle for anything less.
Listen, I'm bummed about the movie but I gotta admit I'm pretty pumped about all the inevitably incoming romantic Force Dyad fics. The ANGST. The CONNECTION.
