I gave him clothes that would be easy to put on and take off in case he feels like going for a swim, and he also wears a bracelet with all the colours of his family as protection. If anyone touches this little prince they’re gonna have ALL these raging trolls chasing their sorry ass.

Pictured up there are Rosa with all her children (she’s gonna run out of spots for them to rest on if she keeps getting children at this rate) and the other doodles are, in fact, the very moments in which she fell in love, but hadn’t realized it yet. The three up there are pale, the other two are red. 

This is full of memories. The mere sight of this page of my sketchbook makes me want to cry and smile like an idiot, but I’m afraid of trying to ink and colour these doodles because they’re so tiny I’ll ruin them, so… here you have them. If I end up not painting them, you still can see. I really wanted to share this.))

She has always been one for cuddles. But you had never expected to get so many kisses from your moirail.

Oh, she loves to give you kisses. She might hold your face and pepper it whole with the softest smooches when you least expect it, just because it makes you smile. Were anyone else to do that, you’d protest, but with her you can’t because her kisses are as innocent as those of a child, intended solely to make you happy. It’s impossible to find any other intention to them: there’s none.

Lately she has taken a certain fondness for giving you pecks on the corner of your mouth, because she has discovered that your fins flutter when she does so. Not that you mind, because sometimes you’ll kiss her too and it’s glorious to see how she glows.

Yes, pale kisses are fantastic.

Sometimes, he’s just content to sit with you while you work.

He’ll make you sit in the gap of his crossed legs, and he’ll put his arms around you. You know well that he couldn’t care less about the shirt he ripped yesterday, but he will sit there with you, wherever you are, and watch you sew. 

Sometimes, he hums. And you pretend not to notice and keep working, but you lean more heavily against his chest. He says he’s bad at singing, which he’s not, but his voice is deep and rumbly and you can feel its soft vibration on your back, and its sound feels like home. 

If your stitches turn out a little crooked, you don’t care.

He can stay there in silence, watching your hands move over the cloth, for hours. Just humming, relaxed, calm.

He holds you all the while, and it makes you all warm inside.

And you’re pretty sure that you just saw him rip the same shirt you mended last week.

Teaching your landdweller moirail to swim is no easy feat. But it’s so cute to see how she trusts you.
