What is the Cocoa Collabs?
The easy answer is: An annual fan collaboration organized by and for the Amelia Project fandom! The longer answer will be given a bit further down ;)
Wait...but what's the Amelia Project?
The Amelia Project is a fiction podcast about fake deaths, cocoa, quirky characters and a whole lot of other shenanigans. If you didn't already know that I suggest you stop reading for a second and listen to the 5 seasons worth of episodes they currently have on their feed. (You can also find them on Twitter as @amelia_podcast and on Tumblr as @ameliapodcast and on Instagram)
How does Cocoa Collabs work?
Welcome back! By now you have surely discovered for yourself what all the excitement is about and maybe you're even itching to create some fan content! And this is where the Cocoa Collabs come in. It's usually more fun to create something with other like minded folks but where do you find those in a fandom which is "family table size"? Well you give the "family" a reason to gather around the table, of course! And so over the course of five days, we (the fandom) will make all sorts of great fan content and we (the organization team) will gather all that content right here by reblogging it. (If you post on twitter please be sure to use the tag #cocoacollabs so everything can be found easily and you Tumblr users please tag this blog!) If you don't want your work reblogged to the collection please tell us. We won't. We still want to see it though so please, by all means, still tag us.
What types of fanstuffs do you mean?
All the fanstuffs! Wether you are an artist, a writer, a cosplayer - or maybe something we don't even know about? All kind of fanwork is welcome! Amelia is all about the secrets, but it is also all about the stories, so let's combine that and have a great time!
Do I have to follow the "official" prompt list?
You can follow the prompts if you want to but of course you don't have to. Feel free to switch the order around, pick from our list of alternatives or just ignore them entirely! They're merely meant to kickstart your creativity and if you don't want / don't need that it's perfectly cool too!
We basically just want to give you an opportunity and an excuse to be creative as well as some starting points in case your ideas won't come by themselves!
