For years fashion has been focused on a size 6. That size along with other small sizes have defined women around the world. What the world is now embracing society has shamed us for. Full lips, thick thighs and the famous big booty. What you pay for I was born with. I embrace all of my curves and I accept all of me. As I was shopping today for my children I decided to go to the toy section of Target. I ran into one of the nurses from the hospital my last baby was born in. After talking, laughing and catching. I glanced over at the barbie dolls and noticed that one look just like me. Not black but a dope curvy girl with style. It was so amazing to see that after growing up with the traditonal barbie. The world is catching on to what I already knew about bbw we are amazing, dope, beautiful and we have a confidence like no other.
