Regardless of the short or extended cut some scenes didn't make the final edition.

I was particularly interested in that scene Mon-El/Supergirl land then Acrata/Lena suddenly appear next to them and Kara gets all stiff tense towards Acrata then Lena defends Andrea saying something like, "No, no she's with us." I really wanted to watch that scene. 😒

I wonder what other scenes didn't make it the final edition. I just hope the blue ray version has tons of extra material.

Either way, about the finale...

Lena was happy so I'm happy.

Cat is back (I smiled like a fool when I saw Calista) to her rightfully place at CatCo so is Kara. I'm good with that.

Jeremy has such sweet voice so does Melissa. Nice duet.

Kara's journey continues off screen. There's nothing wrong with that.

For those disappointed, your inner world and creativity are free from the reigns of CW. Have a blast.

It took several years for Smallville to continue its story now through comics. Maybe that's a path SG can use too in the future. Who knows?

Lastly, my farewell to Lena Luthor who managed to become one of my all-time favorite female tv characters. (Dana Scully, Jessica Pearson, Pathy Hills, Arya Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, Lily Rush and others). Lena rightfully took her place among them, effortlessly.

It's been an absolute pleasure meeting you, Lena. 🥂

Hmm... Kara's human, Lena, (also my favorite human too, I must say) comes back and she is all Golden Retriever 🐕 wagging her tail happily, looking lighter smiling. 😏

Also the blooper of Brainy saying "his nipples?" is mandatory.

It felt out of nowhere for me.

Is it so absurd for Lena to refuse to believe in magic even after all the craziness going on or their past with the worldkillers? (Yes it is BUT that is the process of a scientist when faced with the unknown especially if that so called unknown is something they claim not believe. That scene gave me major Dana Scully #thexfiles vibes. Lena's resistance is nothing compared to almost a decade of Scully's skepticism.)

Or isn't it because Kara actually wants Lena to believe in magic? IMO it seemed that way. 🤔

SG is a peculiar case, isn't it?

Next generations better study how EPs, writers, hair and makeup department (not one wig done right in six years of this show lol) continuously to fail spectacularly time and time again.
