summary: it’s been weeks since lin last touched you, and it’s getting unbearable, especially since you’re ovulating. but lin doesn’t take kindly to your bratty shenanigans.
wc: 2.3k // requested !! there’s no plot.
lin beifong was known for being a very strict, responsible woman.
everybody in the republic was well aware of that, and so were you.
as the chief of police, she hardly left room for any rule-breaking or rebellion.
so.. why did you think that being her wife meant she’d let you get away with it?
poor little you.
you should have known better.
₊˚ ✧ ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ ✧ ₊˚
you relentlessly tossed around in your bed, worked up and horny. it was already past midnight, and your wife wasn’t home yet. you whined into the pillows, shamefully grinding your hips against the mattress.
for an entire week now, lin would stay cooped up in her office until the depths of night — sometimes even all night — often coming back to find you either asleep or too drowsy to hold a proper conversation.
the most you’d ever get from her was a brief exchange during breakfast, and you couldn’t even make up half her words with her mouth stuffed full of the meal you’d lovingly prepared for her.
and more often than not, the plate would stay unfinished, and a quick peck would be pressed to your cheek before sprinting off to work.
something about a criminal on the loose, or whatever.
you huffed, rolling over and stretching your fingers out to gaze at your wedding ring. you were her wife; that was way more important than stupid work!
you just wanted a little bit of attention from her, some sort of acknowledgment — anything! anything was better than whatever this stage of your relationship was.
you grab her pillow, bringing it to your nose and letting out a soft moan. the smell was faint but enough; hints of her shampoo mixed with her body odor.
it’d been almost over two weeks since lin touched you, and currently ovulating didn’t help your case either. even the brush of your peaked nipples against the sheets through your flimsy night gown coaxed pathetic whimpers out of you.
the sound of a notification stops your dry humping, snapping you out of your lovely fantasies as you reach for your phone on the bedside table.
you perk up when you read your wife’s name.
“Sorry, darling. It’s looking like a rough night again. Will probably be back by sunrise. Please forgive me, sweetheart. I promise to make it up to you soon. Be good and don’t stay up too late, alright? Love you.”
your grip tightens around your phone, features twisting into an angry frown. it was always, always the same thing. empty promises about making it up to you that she’d been repeating for ages, and the day never came.
you were so fucking mad.
but when your eyes drift to her profile picture next to her text, you chew on your bottom lip, thighs squeezing together.
gods, you needed her so badly.
you lay on your side, phone propped up in your left hand as your right slides under your gown and into your panties. you’re about to touch yourself, eyes set on your wife’s irresistibly hot face, when another notification pops up.
it’s another message from lin.
“Darling? You left me on seen. Is everything alright? I trust you’re not upset with me. You know I don’t like it when you don’t reply back to me. It gets me worried.”
you scoff. she wasn’t coming back to you, and she still had the nerve to demand a reply from you?
your thumb accidentally grazes your clit and you gasp again, louder this time. your eyes flutter shut, torn between tossing your phone away and taking care of your needs, or sending back a proper reply.
oh.
an idea pops into your mind, and you decide to slide the device lower. who said you had to only pick one?
if she wanted a reply, she was about to get one.
you lift up your dress, angling your phone to catch your already wet pussy in all its glory. you press record, and tug the damp panties to the side, moaning your wife’s name as two delicate fingers smudge the drooling slick over the entirety of your needy folds to lube them up, and you mewl at the sight of your sweet cunt stretching on camera when you finally push them in.
you slightly wince at how tight you are, your poor pussy so neglected for the past weeks. you settle for rubbing fast circles on your clit, which doesn‘t fail to drag filthy mewls out of you as your back arches off the bed.
you don’t want to make the video too long, so you hazily fumble for the ‘send’ button, before throwing your phone away and focusing back on chasing your orgasm.
it felt so good, and all you could think about was lin’s fingers doing the job themselves.
lost in pleasure, you pay no mind to the flurry of notifications flooding your phone.
₊˚ ✧ ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ ✧ ₊˚
you sigh, a big relieved smile on your face as you melt into the sheets, sprawled on your back, your worries shoved to the back of your mind after your climax.
until you hear the fumbling of keys, that is.
what the fuck?
you quickly sit up, panicked, eyes sweeping the room to find your phone on the edge of the bed.
you check the time.
it wasn‘t even 1AM, and lin said she’d be busy all night. who could this be? a break-in!? surely not—
your heart drops to your gut when you see the tons of unread texts from her on your lockscreen. with your shaky grasp, you can only manage to read the last one.
“Made me cut the meeting short. You’ll regret that.”
you don’t even dare look up from your screen when the bedroom door creaks open, your body locked in place when you hear that extremely, painfully familiar low thudding of her steps towards you.
oh, she was mad.
you slowly — very slowly — look up at her, phone slipping off your trembling hands, and you’re met with that silent, stern glare of hers, her arms crossed.
she looked so calm, and that’s how you knew you were done for. you could piss yourself any moment now.
you swallow thickly. “l-lin—”
“no,” she shushes you with a deceptively gentle press of her index against your mouth. “i don’t want to hear another word from you. not a single one. am i clear, sweet, stupid girl?”
your lips quiver under her gaze, and as ordered, you keep quiet and simply nod.
“good.” she steps back, metalbending her belt off and tossing a heavy pair of handcuffs on the bed next to you, which in turn makes your eyes widen. she gives you a final, disappointed stare, “i’ll be back. i want you naked, on all fours, patiently waiting for me by then. understood?”
she leaves and you frantically scramble into position, heart racing as you make quick work of your night gown, crawling to the center of the bed on all fours.
you were already regretting your stupid stunt.
seriously, she brought home actual cuffs? lin beifong — the most devoted and duty-bound workaholic in the entire republic — ditched work for you?
yeah. good luck walking next week.
₊˚ ✧ ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ ✧ ₊˚
the bed dips under her weight, and you flush with embarrassment at how she just quietly sits behind you, taking in the sight of you so vulnerable and exposed.
and there’s nothing you can do about it.
you try to slightly close your legs, feeling shy at the amount of exposure, when a sharp smack lands on your ass.
you squeak, startled, before another one finds your other ass cheek.
“keep them open.” her rough hands rub over the spanked skin, before drifting lower to spread your thighs, “and i said, don’t make a sound.”
you nod weakly, fingers curling around the sheets, heart throbbing as hard as your pussy.
“i thought you were my good girl.” lin sighs, caressing the plush side of your thigh as her other hand reaches for the cuffs. “did you forget your place in my absence?”
your breath catches in your throat when she lowers herself over you, her clothed chest against your bare back; she was still in uniform.
she nips at your ear, “i should arrest you, you know. for indecent exposure.”
you gasp softly when cool metal finds your pretty wrists, bringing them to rest against the small of your back, the lack of arm support causing your head to gently plop into your pillow.
“how long was that video you sent me?” she asks, tender rubs on your hips that you’d easily mistake for loving if not for your current situation. you swallow, unsure of whether to speak or not.
you whimper when she pinches your waist, “answer me.”
“i..” you try to reply, but your brain is too scrambled to form even one coherent thought, much less remember. “i-i’m sorry, i don’t know.”
“of course you don’t,” she spreads your cheeks wider, gazing at your still drooling slit from your earlier activities.
she scoffs, a harsh slap landing between your swollen pussy lips, earning a startled squeal from you, “but i know. it was twenty seconds.”
you sniffle, knees already shaking, and nod into the pillow. “y-yes mommy.”
“that means,” she feels up the back of your thighs to the swell of your backside again. “you’ll count up to twenty for me.”
every cell in your body screamed for you to negotiate, fight back, explain yourself — but you knew better than to question lin’s discipline.
she gives you an experimental tap, “and you’ll thank me after each one. mess up once, and we start over from scratch. and i’m sure you wouldn’t want that. right, baby?”
you bury your face deeper into the pillows, digging crescent shapes into your palms in anticipation, the metal cold against your hot skin, “..yes, mommy.”
₊˚ ✧ ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ ✧ ₊˚
accepting your punishment didn’t make it any easier. the sting was morphing into numbness, your throat hoarse from crying and apologizing, tears streaming down your face like waterfalls.
“stop being so loud,” she huffs out with another smack. “work’s already giving me a headache. give me a break.”
you blink through your tears.
give her a break!? you were the one getting your ass beaten, and she was the one complaining??
you don’t get to dwell on this long enough before she spanks you again, harder. “hey. i said count.”
“s-sixteen!” you blurt out, trying to muffle your sobs. “..seventeen.. t-thank you, mommy.”
“okay, that’s enough.” she exhales, like this was inconveniencing her. her hands find your warm hips, bringing them closer to her crotch, and you mewl at the feel of her strap’s bulge against your swollen pussy.
“i love you, darling.” she glides the silicone tip over your already soaked cunt, tone sweet as syrup unlike the thorough discipline she’d just administered. “you know i do. i just don’t take well to misbehavior and rule-breaking. but you know that already, don’t you?”
you moan when her strap finally eases itself into your slit, back arching and hands uselessly thrashing against the snug handcuffs.
she hikes your hips up higher, the meat tender from your earlier spanking, “why did you disobey me, my love? you knew where it’d land you.”
“i—i’m sorry,” you weakly hiccup, your thighs spasming as her pace picks up so fast you have to bite down on your pillow.
she stays silent, her punishing thrusts more than enough to etch the lesson into your brain — but oh, if this was the only way you’d get attention, you’d take the pain ten times over.
“you’re so tight,” lin grunts, rough hands roaming over your waist, coming down to nose your damp nape. “i’ve been neglecting you, haven’t i? that’s why you acted up tonight. my poor little wife was so hungry for attention. but you know as well as i do that that’s no excuse. if you dare repeat this, i will not hesitate to do this again. and i’ll be way, way worse.”
you can only nod, half of her words not registering in your dazed, overstimulated brain, too busy focusing on how hard her cock was bullying your sensitive walls to pay any attention to her lecture.
you can feel the knot in your stomach tightening, and her fingers come to swipe over your tear-stained cheek. “don’t cry, you deserved this. i’ve gone easy on you today since this is your first time going against my orders.”
she cracks a small smile when you needily nuzzle into her hand, “there you go. that’s the sweet girl i know.”
your eyes roll to the back of your head with a final thrust of her strong hips, and your legs completely give out, your second orgasm wracking your body.
she slips out of you, undoing the handcuffs as well as her strap, tossing everything on the ground to wrap you up in her arms.
she presses a soft kiss to your forehead, holding your naked form against her clothed one, one hand drifting down to soothe the reddened skin. “don’t hold it against me, darling. you know i can’t let people get away with their wrongdoings. that’s my job.”
you pathetically bury your face into her chest, her other hand gently stroking your scalp. “i—i just wanted—”
“i know.” she cuts you off, voice low and tender. “but it doesn’t matter. you may be my dear wife, but you still did a bad thing. you should have been more patient. so make sure this doesn’t happen again, alright, my love?”
you sniffle, nodding against her neck.
lin smiles, thumb brushing over your quivering bottom lip. “there we go. who’s mommy’s good girl?”
she kisses your two closed eyelids as you softly answer, “m-me. i’m your good girl, mommy.”
“of course you are.” more kisses travel down your jaw to your neck, “now, let mommy take good care of you.”
I had my fair share of faults, yeah, but the way they didn't disclose the whole truth from my end as well was messed up because it framed me like I was some psychotic woman who kept pestering to keep things going 😞 but I'm glad many people finally learnt of the whole truth and I've gained a lot of support and sweetness from the fandom 🥹🩷

summary: katara comes home to an interesting sight.
"Hey, have you—oh." Katara goes quiet when she walks in on you writhing between Toph's thighs, legs forced open and swollen pussy on full display. You squeal loudly, thighs trembling when Toph's thick fingers delve deep into your cunt, spreading you wide enough that Katara's able to catch a glimpse of your gummy walls.
"Hey Sugar Queen," Toph greets conversationally, like she isn't currently finger-fucking you to the spirit realm. "How did the council meeting go?"
"Good," Katara answers, already walking further into the room and kneeling before you. She's reaching out a hand, molding it to your tear-stained cheek and cooing as you nuzzle into it. "Wish I had been here, though. How long have you had her like this?"
Toph thinks about it for a second. "About an hour or so," she replies with a cruel upward curl of her fingers that has you choking. "Ooh, that was a big gush, baby." Katara looks down to see what she means and takes in the fresh slick that coats Toph's pounding fingers. Her tongue aches for a taste, the memory of you an unforgettable treat in her mouth. "She hasn't come yet under somebody's orders and I think she's about to go crazy."
Katara smiles and it's a wicked thing.
"Let me guess, Zuko?" She asks and Toph shakes her head.
"Aang, actually," Toph says, delighted. "She was very bratty to him today and Twinkletoes wanted to teach her a lesson." She smiles, all teeth. "But he has Avatar Duties to attend to so he gave her to me." She pulls her fingers out of your spasming cunt, cherishes your sudden cry before landing a harsh slap between your swollen pussylips. "Bad girl, you know you can't come yet."
You hiccup a sob, your pretty face crumpled with so much need and desperation. It makes Katara almost feel sorry for you because she knows how merciless Toph can be. But she's never one to deny the opportunity to see you all messed up and toyed with, pushed towards all your limits until you can't even think.
The perfect fucktoy that they all love to play with.
Katara ties up her hair with a red ribbon and leans in to capture Toph's lips in a dirty kiss. One that Toph accepts immediately, humming eagerly as she licks into Katara's mouth. Then Katara's pulling away, moving in to nip at the curve of your ear to hear your quivering breath hitch. All the while her hand is joining Toph's, her lithe fingers rubbing soft circles against your throbbing clit.
Your back arches, mouth opening in a silent cry as your thighs try to slam shut around their hands. Katara chuckles, kissing your cheek before saying:
"Aang doesn't get back for another hour. If you come, we'll have to tell him so be a good girl for us, okay?"
You barely have time to process those words before Katara's mouth is on your clit and your vision turns black.
I've been working on these since easter istg i just haven't had the motivation to post lmao
also if i see movie spoilers under this post i'm launching the nukes.
summary: you wrote in your diary until the end of your lifetime. before your final moment, you revealed it to toph, something for her to have after your death. years after reader's death, toph still carries their old diary everywhere without ever opening it. when lin finally offer to read it outlaid, mother and daughter spends an evening rediscovering the woman they both loved.
contains: slight angst, hurt/comfort(?), death, family, grief and healing, parenthood, emotional comfort, established relationship, post-canon, bittersweet
word count: 1.6k
Three years after your death, the diary you used to write in was revealed to Toph. Unable to read, and still trying to recover after your death, the diary sat exactly where Toph had left it. She didn't hide it, but she didn’t display it either. It was just... there.
On the small table beside her favorite chair. Close enough to reach when she wanted something to remember you by. Close enough to touch, but never had the courage to open and read it. Not that she could anyway. At first, everyone assumed she wasn't interested. It has been 3 years afterall, however that assumption went away after 3 years and 10 days.
Suyin was away on a little family vacation with her own family now. Lin decided it’s the perfect time to come over to visit, something about needing her mom’s help with a case. And also lowkey checking up to see how she was doing. She stayed for a week.
During this visit, Toph Beifong wasn't subtle.
She'd pick the diary up sometimes while drinking tea. Set it back down. Move it to another room. Bring it back. Leave it on the porch then take it inside when it rains, afraid of ruining the only thing left by her late wife. The book practically followed her around.
Lin noticed almost immediately. Of course she did. For all the ways she resembled her mother, Lin had inherited your ability to notice things people wanted hidden. She never mentioned it out loud. Not at first. She simply watched and waited because some grief needed time. Even for Toph. Especially for Toph.
One evening, Lin arrived for lunch carrying a stack of reports. Toph was sitting outside, enjoying the afternoon sun. The diary rested beside her tea. Again.
Lin sat down across from her. Neither spoke for a while. They didn't need to. The silence between them had long since become comfortable. Eventually, Lin glanced toward the worn leather cover. Then toward her mother. Then back again. "Still carrying it around?"
Toph immediately scowled. "I don't carry it around."
"You moved it three times while I was walking up the path."
"That's different."
Lin didn't bother arguing. Experience had taught her there was no point. Instead she poured herself a cup of tea and took a sip.
A few moments passed, and she asked quietly, "Have you read it yet?"
Toph's shoulders stiffened. Just slightly. Most people wouldn't have noticed.
Lin did.
"No." She scoffed. The answer came immediately. “Not that I can anyway.”
The truth was more complicated. The diary represented something Toph wasn't sure she was ready for. Not because she was afraid of what you'd written.
Quite the opposite.
She was afraid of hearing your voice again. Afraid of missing you more than she already did. Afraid of opening a wound she'd spent years learning how to carry. Because grief never truly left. It simply became familiar.
Lin looked down at the diary. Then back up. "Do you want me to?" For the first time that afternoon, Toph didn't answer. The question settled between them. For three years, the diary had remained closed because opening it felt impossibly hard. Now it didn't. Now all she had to do was say yes.
The silence stretched. Birds chirped somewhere nearby. A breeze rustled through nearby trees. Eventually Toph sighed. The kind of sigh usually reserved for accepting defeat. "...Fine."
Lin smiled. Small. Soft. Toph heard the little breath that Lin made when she smiled, a habit that Lin picked up from you. It was almost identical to yours. And suddenly Toph hated both of you a little.
They moved inside. The evening light filtered through the windows, painting long golden shadows across the room. Toph settled into her couch. Lin sat nearby with the diary in her lap. For a moment neither moved. The weight of it felt strangely significant. Then Lin opened the cover. The pages crackled softly. Old paper. Well loved and well kept.
The first entry made Lin laugh immediately. "Today I met the most infuriating girl I've ever known." Toph groaned.
"Close it."
"No."
"Lin."
"No."
A pause. Then Lin continued reading. "She's rude, stubborn, arrogant, and completely impossible to reason with."
Another pause. "I think we're going to be friends."
Toph barked out an unwilling laugh. And just like that, the tension broke. A little, but not completely. But it was enough.
The next few entries followed Team Avatar's journey. Stories Lin had heard growing up. Arguments, adventures, missions that had gone wrong, moments that had become legends and yet hearing them through your eyes made them different. More personal and more alive.
At one point Lin had to stop because she was laughing too hard. Apparently, there had been an entire journal entry dedicated to Toph refusing to admit she'd caught a cold. Toph defended herself immediately. "I was fine." According to the diary, she'd sneezed six times in under a minute.
"I was fine."
The fact that she still sounded offended decades later only made it funnier.
Hours passed, neither of them noticed. Their stack of reports was forgotten. Their tea grew cold and the sky darkened. Still, Lin kept reading. Eventually the stories changed, the adventures became quieter, the entries became older. Many memories that Toph had buried came rushing back to her, and instead of feeling sad over those memories, it was replaced by nostalgia.
Lin flipped the page. She reached one that made her pause before deciding to read it out loud for her mom. "Today, Lin called me ‘mom’ for the first time."
The room went silent as Lin stared at the page, then slowly continued.
"I don't think she realized she'd said it until afterward. The poor girl looked horrified. Toph pretended she wasn't emotional about it, but I could hear her pacing outside the bedroom afterward."
Lin immediately turned to her mother. Toph looked away. "...You paced?"
"No." She quickly denied.
Lin raised an eyebrow and Toph crossed her arms. "I was walking." The distinction meant absolutely nothing. Lin laughed softly then she continued. "Sometimes I worry that Lin thinks I replaced someone. I hope one day she understands that love doesn't work like that. There was never a place to take. There was only more room to make."
The words hit harder than either of them expected.
Lin lowered the diary slightly. For a moment she couldn't speak. Because she remembered those years. The uncertainty along with the confusion. The fear that her mother will ditch her. And now here was proof that you'd seen it all. Every bit of it. Without judgment. Without resentment. Only with love.
Toph remained quiet. But Lin noticed the way her mother's hands had tightened slightly so she kept reading.
Hours later, they reached entries about Suyin, then their grandchildren, and then family gatherings with Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Zuko. Years and years of memories preserved between pages carried in this thick book. Some made them laugh, some made them cry. Most did both.
And through it all, your voice slowly filled the room. Not literally, but close enough. For the first time since your death, it felt less like you'd disappeared and more like you'd stepped into another room.
Eventually, Lin turned to one of the final entries. By the end of it, the handwriting had become shakier. The date is more recent but still a few years ago.
The room grew quiet. Neither woman spoke. Lin swallowed, then she began reading.
"To whoever is reading it out loud for my wife; I think I've had a good life.” Toph immediately turned to stare at the ground. "Not a perfect one. We made mistakes. Spirits know we made enough of those, but if I had to do it all again, I would."
The words became harder to read. For Toph, it became harder to hear.
"I would choose every adventure. Every argument. Every heartbreak. Every reconciliation." Lin's voice softened. "And I would choose Toph."
There was a brief moment of silence.
"Again and again and again."
The room seemed smaller somehow. "I know she won't like reading this part." Toph immediately muttered, "Correct."
Lin smiled through tears. "But she should know anyway."
A pause.
"Loving Toph Beifong was the easiest decision I ever made."
Lin stopped. Not because the entry ended, but because she couldn't continue for a moment. Toph sat perfectly still across from her.
Years of grief and the years of missing you. Years of carrying your absence. Yet, somehow those simple words pierced straight through all of it. Eventually, Lin continued reading as her voice grew quieter now.
"When my time comes, I hope she keeps living. I hope she laughs. I hope she annoys people. I hope she tells terrible jokes. I hope she knows she was loved every day of my life." The final sentence nearly broke both of them.
"And if there's anything waiting afterward, I'll be there."
The room fell silent. Neither of them moved nor spoke.
Outside, night had fully arrived. The stars shone beyond the windows. The world continued turning. The diary sat on Lin’s lap as she processed her late mother’s words. After a long while, Lin carefully closed the diary. The sound echoed softly through the room. For a moment she thought Toph might say something. Maybe some sarcastic comment. Throw a complaint or even attempt to hide what she was feeling. Instead, her mother leaned close and placed a hand on top of the diary. And simply held it there like she was holding your hand. Almost like she wasn't ready to let go yet.
And for once, Lin didn't try to fix it. She didn't offer any advice nor did she fill the silence. She just got up and sat beside her. The way you would have. The way family does. And together, they listened to the quiet.

Warnings: Switch!Toph, cunnilingus, fingering, Public sex, foot grinding, Pussydrunk!Toph, reader uses Waterbending on Toph, dirty smut.
Toph Beifong. A woman who prided herself on her strength and fearlessness. A woman who never let silly emotions throw off her focus.
Well, that is until she met you.
There was just something about the way you carried yourself— Confident, strong-willed, untamable— That was so alluring to her.
You had this ability to make others falter without even trying. Nothing could hold you down. Not even gravity.
You were able to take even the most crowded of rooms, and make it so that all she ‘saw’ was you.
Everything she’s ever told herself was thrown out of the window with only a single glance from those beautiful eyes. It was infuriating!
Yet, so addictive..
Toph couldn’t help but want you. You challenged her in a way no other ever had the guts to. Every opinion? Shot down by your intellect and boldness. Every insult thrown your way by her? Dodged and sent full force to her with your sass and witty comebacks.
It was everything she’s ever craved! Everything she never even knew she needed.
Toph Beifong. The strongest Earthbender in the world. Had finally met her match, and it was the most exhilarating feeling in all of the Earth Kingdom.
She found herself staring at you more often than she’d admit. Head tilted to the side the way blind people do when they’re studying someone’s every move.
And when you caught her gawking at you? You faced her head on. Popping out your hip with that unshakable attitude of yours, and smiling so smugly she could practically feel that confidence radiating off you in seismic waves.
And— Oh, she loved every second of it.
You were a force to be reckoned with. A strong one at that. A Waterbender, just like Katara. But, so much more dangerous. You managed to tear every one of her walls down with a smirk and a flip of your hair.
Ugh, it was getting harder and harder to control herself around you. And everyone knew it!
It was all in the way she stared at you. Wherever you’d walk by, her gaze would linger. Nothing but pure, unadulterated hunger behind those sightless eyes.
Right now was no different. You and Toph were at dinner together, bickering per usual. She’d say something out of pocket, (Because, of course Toph flirts by being mean) and you’d retort with a remark ten times worse!
Spirits, it made her head spin with ecstasy. Because, you didn’t back down. Never did when it came down to it.
Her heart pounded in her chest. Eyes sparkling with delight, not that you ever noticed.
Toph leaned in closer, to which you responded in kind by closing in the distance just a fraction as well. She smirked. That cocky little curl of lips that could make anyone’s knees weak, and spoke in an almost rougher tone.
“Gods..”
Her gaze never wavered from where she knew yours was. Raw, unfiltered need etched all over her features. Her foot lifting to brush against your leg under the table before continuing..
“You’re so hot when you talk back.”
You stay completely still, Not even acknowledging the way her bare foot was teasing your skin. You just sat there staring at her with a tilted head that matched her own and that stupidly attractive smile on your face. It’s like you know what you’re doing to her!
“Yeah?”
Your voice was low, seductive. Toph’s breath hitched at the sound, almost imperceptible had you not been so close to her. It made the smirk on your face turn downright wicked.
“You like it when I’m like this?”
She didn’t answer right away. Instead, she dragged her foot slowly up your calf, bare sole warm against your pants. Teasing, testing how far you’d let her go.
Then that smirk returned full force, the one that said I’m about to wreck you.
“Like it?” She echoed lowly, leaning even closer until her nose almost brushed yours. “I’m obsessed with it.”
Her voice dropped to a growl—the kind only you ever got—and her hand shot out and grabbed the back of your neck.
“Well, that’s a real problem..”
You whisper teasingly in response, lips purposefully brushing against Toph’s before pulling back entirely and sitting back in your booth chair.
“Because, you’re not getting anything from me. That is.. unless you like to grovel.”
Toph froze.
The air between you turned electric—charged with challenge and something far more dangerous— arousal.
For a heartbeat, she didn’t move. Just sat there, her hand still hovering where your neck had been seconds ago. Her lips tingled from that near-kiss—a ghost of contact—and her entire body screamed to close the gap again.
But no.
You’d pulled away. Teased her. Dared her to grovel?
A slow, wild grin spread across Toph’s face. The kind that meant trouble for everyone involved, especially you.
She leaned back in her chair now… arms crossing over that broad chest like a queen sizing up an insolent knight who just insulted the crown.
“Ohhh,” she purred, voice thick with amusement and threat all at once. “You wanna play it like that?”
Her foot? Still on your leg, but now pressing harder into your thigh as if marking territory.
And then came the smirk again…
The one right before battle began.
“I do.”
You hum, finger moving under the table to lightly graze the sensitive skin of her ankle and lightly trailing your fingertips around it.
“You want me? Show me how much.”
Toph’s pulse spiked.
That little graze, just a feather-light touch on her ankle, sent a shock through her like lightning through stone. Her breath caught, muscles tensing not from anger, but desire, hot and sudden.
She hadn’t expected you to play dirty. To go straight for the weak spot, a sensitive nerve she rarely showed anyone.
And gods… it felt good.
Too good. You were unraveling her with just your finger, and you knew it too, judging by that smug grin of yours.
Her jaw tightened. Pride warred with passion inside Toph Beifong, the girl who never begged now fighting every instinct not to throw herself at you right here in front of everyone in the mess hall (where they totally weren't supposed to be doing this).
But then?
A slow breath out…
And without tearing her eyes away from yours— Blind as they are— She did something completely unexpected for someone as proud as she was.
She slid under the table.
Kneeling right there between your legs like a servant ready to obey any command.
You raised one of your brows, surprised she was actually down there. Under you. Staring up at you, like that.
Completely at your mercy..
You shifted your gaze toward the restaurant. Nobody seemed to be paying any mind to either of you, each customer unaware of the filth that was about to take place right under their noses.
Toph’s hands draw you out of your thoughts. Rough, calloused, wrapped around your legs. Slowly trailing up your calves, lifting one up to her shoulder and pressing a lingering kiss to the skin there.
Then another to your knee.
And one more to your inner thigh..
Stopping when she reached the thin piece of fabric under your skirt. Your lips were parted, a shaky breath escaping your mouth. And just when things were getting good..
“Excuse me.”
Your eyes landed over to the voice instantly, eyes wide and staring at the waiter who had his notepad in hand.
“Your order, Ma’am.”
You sat frozen for a second, then cleared your throat and looked down at the menu that was resting on the table, idly scanning over it.
You’d thought that Toph would stop her ministrations when there was a person right beside them.. That you would be safe from the consequences of teasing her until she finally caved?
Wrong.
Her finger lifted to your inner thigh, burying her face between your legs and inhaling the scent that was already coaxing from your panties. Then? She pulled them to the side, blowing a puff of air teasingly onto your core.
“And for the drinks we can- can..”
Your whole body shuddered, a low pitched moan erupted from your throat.
“Are you okay, Ma’am?”
The waiter actually looked worried, pen pausing its note taking and his eyes lifted to your now flushed face.
“Who, me? God- good! I’m good! Just so cold in here..”
You managed to say, the shivers that came from Toph’s tongue movements made the lie a little more convincing.
“Oh. Okay then.. I’ll just bring you guys some waters. We’ll be back with your orders shortly.”
Toph smirked against your cunt, licking a long stripe over your center and then latching her lips to your clit. Sucking on the bud with a fervor that made your thighs clench around her head.
You clasped a hand over your mouth, keeping the moans that left your lips muffled as Toph worked your pussy.
Toph’s free hand lifted, pulling your pussy lips apart and sliding two of her digits inside of you.
Curling them up to hit that sweet spot deep that you were never able to reach with your own fingers. Your back arched off the seat, hips bucking into her hand to meet her thrusts.
“Toph!”
Your voice came out higher than intended. Though due to the loud atmosphere, no one heard it. Thankfully..
Your body jolted when she pulled her fingers out of you, only to push them back in deliciously enough to make your head fall back against the booth.
Her tongue didn’t stop either. Continuing to suck on your pulsing clit, nibbling when her fingers thrusted into you, and flattening it again in an open-mouthed kiss. Her free hand hooked around your thigh, keeping you from squirming away while she drowned in the feel of your pussy. The way your juices smeared over her face, how your walls clamped around her fingers like they were claiming them.
One of your hands found her hair, tugging on the strands harshly enough to make her groan and guiding her face closer to you. You weren’t gentle with her, she loved it. How you took what you wanted from her without question. The thought alone was enough to dampen her underwear.
Spirits above, you were so made for her..
Toph’s fingers curled into you deeper, continuously hitting that spot that made you see stars. Your climax came with a breathless sob from your mouth. Toph never paused her actions, drawling out your pleasure for as long as possible. When your tremors stopped is when she finally pulled away from you.
Her gaze lifted up to you, unfocused eyes narrowing as she took in your disheveled state. A wide, cocky grin spreading across her features.
You were gone now. Face flushed a dark red, pupils blown wide with want, throat hoarse from trying to keep your sounds in. There was even a little drool dripping at the corner of your mouth. Gods, that might’ve been the best you ever had. Way too good for someone who once said they hated you. So, being the generous person you were..
Who would you be if you didn’t return the favor?
Your hand moved under the table, not to grab at her hair, no. Instead, you flexed a finger outward. Using your Waterbending to gather all of the wetness in her boxers and move it up to her clit.
The slick circling around it torturously slow, make a low groan leave Toph. You weren’t merciful, your bending pressing excruciatingly hard into her, but not going fast enough to create any sort of build up.
Toph got impatient, her hands moving to your legs, pulling you closer to her and grinding against your foot hungrily.
You took notice of this, pausing your movements enough to make her whimper, then amplifying her pleasure by making her juices vibrate over her aching core.
“Holy shit-“
Toph breathed out, stopping her movements for a second, A low, guttural sound getting torn from her.
Your finger made another motion, the vibrations on her clit getting faster, rougher. Toph let out a whine, her head dropping to your thigh. Her hips proceeding their motions on your foot, thrusts now growing sloppier, losing their rhythm, signaling that she was about to cum.
You pressed her slick rougher into her, amping up the pressure into her clit one last time before she’s finding her release. Teeth sinking into the plush skin of your thigh to muffle her sounds. You rode out her high, bending stopping their movements when she went pliant in your lap.
————
You guys ended up getting the food to go.
It was late now, the two of you walking the quiet streets of the Earth kingdom. Toph’s arm now draped around your shoulder as if marking her territory.
“So..”
Toph starts, keeping her gaze forward for a second before turning to you with a wide grin.
“Dinner at my place next time?”
WAIT CAUSE I WAS IN MY BAG WITH THIS ONE
Guys please enjoy this, It took me hours to finish it. Commitment ya’ll.
I had been there for now about a week, and even though it was only a temporary solution I was finding myself to quite like it here, I easily fell into a routine with top and the students, watching them and giving advices whenever I had the occasion, the kids seemed to like me too, which I was glad for.
I had never gotten the occasion to pass down my know to the youth and it did give me some kind of maternal feeling, it made me feel nostalgic too for some reason, like I remembered an old dream, a bittersweet feeling.
I was laying in the grass outside, close to a stream, eyes closed and relaxed as I rested and took this rare moment of alone time gratefully.
I was on the verge of dozing off when I suddenly felt the slight vibrations of footsteps in the ground, I opened one eye to see toph walking towards me and I let out a quiet sigh.
“Sneaking out all alone huh?”
She asked, I could hear the smirk in her voice as I propped myself up on my elbows to look over her as she stopped beside me.
“Why? Miss me?”
I said sarcastically as usual and she huffed a laugh
“ ‘course not, I’m way better than that”
She said as she sat down next to me and I only hummed as I laid back down, settling in comfortable silence as I closed my eyes.
It was quiet for a moment before she spoke up, playing with the grass beneath her fingers
“How’d you find it so far?.. it’s not too hard?”
She said, then added in a sheepish tone
“Not that I care, katara asked me to ask you”
I huffed softly as I opened my eyes to look at her
“I’m doing fine.. your students are nice, you’re okay to deal with, and I get to pass down my knowledge to young earth benders.. it’s honestly better than I expected”
I said truthfully, earning a pause from her before she spoke
“Mh, sounds like what an old woman would say”
She said sarcastically with a soft huff before her expression softened ever so slightly
“But I’m glad you like it here oldie, the students like you a lot, maybe you should extend your stay no?”
I hummed, in thoughts. I had thought about it, and I also needed to figure out who she kept reminding me of too, but I couldn’t allow myself to give in so easily yet so I decided to tease her.
“Someone’s growing soft huh, I know the students are just excuses”
I said, snarky, and she rolled her eyes
“You’re insufferable”
She said as she sent a pebble my way, hitting me in the forehead and I scoffed as I glared at her, rubbing the spot she hit
“Asshole”
She smirked
“Says you”
I huffed and pushed myself up as I sent a bigger pebble her way
“You’re too confident”
I said and she winced before glaring my way
“And you’re annoying”
I rolled my eyes
“Guess we’re a match then”
I said sarcastically as I shrugged and laid back down, I heard her sigh before she laid down as well.
I closed my eyes, focusing on all the noises surrounding me and relaxing slowly, I soon started picking up the sound of her heartbeat and slow breathing next to me, making my own heartbeat falter at the familiarity of it.
This feeling again?? I frowned as I was overtook with a feeling of nostalgia, it confused me amd toph must’ve felt it as she spoke up
“Something bothering you oldie?”
She asked and I swallowed thickly
“Nothing..”
I denied, I knew she knew I was lying but thankfully after another moment of silence she dropped it with just a hum, I sighed softly, quiet for a moment before I whispered
“You ever get that weird, sudden nostalgic feeling sometimes..?”
I asked and she perked up
“What do you mean?”
“… I don’t know.. I.. I get this feeling sometimes.. like I’m forgetting something important.. like I’m missing something..”
I was quiet for a while, thinking of my next words
“I get this overwhelming sensation of nostalgia and.. yearning..? Kind of..”
I sighed, frustrated and confused
“It’s driving me crazy, always happens around you too.. I don’t know what is wrong with me”
I huffed and the rock I was fiddling with crumbled in my hands, I didn’t need to look at her to see her widened eyes and surprised expression
“Around me?”
I sighed as I looked away
“Yeah”
She was silent for a moment as I picked up another rock, twirling it in the air to occupy my mind
“You’re weird oldie y’know that..?”
Before I could respond she added
“But.. I think something similar has been happening to me too..”
She admitted quietly, this time I was the one surprised, my eyes widened as I sat up to look at her
“Huh?”
She rolled her eyes
“You heard me oldie, don’t make me repeat myself”
I huffed with a frown, I was lost, how did I not realised she also experienced these things in the first place? Toph was quite easy to read I should have noticed something sooner, all of this was messing with my mind and I didn’t like it one bit-
“-hey! Im talking to you!”
I felt her hand squeeze my shoulder as she shook me lightly, making me snap out of my thoughts as I looked at her
“I- right sorry.. i just.. I’m confused and it’s messing up with my mind”
I muttered and she sighed softly as she let go of me
“No need to worry too much about it, I’m sure it’s nothing, you were stuck for over two centuries in rock, of course you’re going to get weird symptoms here and there, I’m sure it’s nothing”
She brushed it off, making my shoulders slump ever so slightly, how could she take it so lightly? She seemed so calm while I was all bothered over it, I looked away as I sighed.
———
That night I went to bed, mind full with thoughts and restlessness, I kept turning and tossing around for hours, couldn’t get my mind to shut up as I reminisced about what she told me earlier. Was I actually overthinking it..?
I groaned as I sat up, frustrated. I looked out the window, tonight was a beautiful full moon, it reminded me of her eyes, a beautiful milky white.. I sat there, silent for a moment before my face flushed at the realisation of what I just thought
“You fool..”
I muttered to myself as I shook my head and got out of bed, deciding to go take a walk around the academy to hopefully calm down my mind.
I found myself back in front of her statue, looking up at it as I sighed softly
“How can a simple woman mess with my mind that way..”
I whispered to myself as I sat down, leaning against her rock feet, playing with a rock.
I closed my eyes, focusing on feeling my surroundings, all the insects around me, the wind blowing in my face softly, the slight vibrations in the ground, I was slowly picking up on the so called seismic sense Toph seemed to naturally have, and to be honest it was quite amazing, it somehow always helped me calm down, taking my focus away from my thoughts for a moment and allowing me to feel the world.
After a few minutes I found Toph’s heartbeat, my heart skipped a beat at that as I swallowed thickly, my fingers clenching tightly around the rock in my hands as I felt an odd squeeze in my chest, I opened my eyes and sighed as I rested my chin on my crossed arms
“I’m so pathetic.. why do I keep feeling that way..”
I whispered, my words muffled by the fabric before I closed my eyes again.
I felt my heart throb as a flash of a face passed my head followed by a laugh, looked and sounded just like toph, and it made my heart ache so much I got teary eyed, my hand clutched at the fabric of my shirt as I sighed shakily, I didn’t understand shit, and it was driving me crazy as much as it hurt me, I let out a quiet whimper as I stayed there, soon falling asleep on the spot from lack of sleep.
..
The next morning I woke up and was immediately faced with a half concerned half curious toph
“You slept here the whole night?”
She asked as I slowly woke up properly, my mind still a bit hazy
“Mmh..? Shit yeah I did..”
I scratched my head as I yawned and she frowned
“Are you okay?”
I looked up at her and nodded
“Of course I am”
She scoffed as she put her hand on my forehead, checking for my temperature before grabbing my chin
“Tonight, come to my room we need to talk”
She said with finality before letting go with a huff as she turned to walk away
“Go get yourself ready oldie”
I stayed quiet the entire time, wide eyed as a flush crept up my face and my heart almost beat out of my chest, why was I so flustered all of a sudden? The way her fingers felt against my skin, so rough yet soft, the tone of her voice, all of it made my heart melt, I cursed under my breath as I got up, wincing as my body ached from sleeping there all night.
“Fucking hell..”
..
I walked toward her room quietly, playing with a few rocks in my hand as I replayed the whole day in my mind, she had been awfully quiet with me today, not much teasing or jabs, I didn’t know what to expect from this “talk”.
I knocked on her door and waited
“Come in!”
I heard her yell from inside and I hesitantly stepped in, why am I so nervous?
“So.. what’d you want to talk about?”

Thoughts on Lin with a vampire-esque wife? Maybe headcanons of how her and Lin are together even though reader sleeps a lot in the day and you know, she just vampire-like habits.
Pairing: Lin Beifong × Vampire Wife Reader
WC: 6K+
Synopsis: Lin, her vampire wife and the shenanigans that ensues. Part 1.
AN: I was so excited when I saw this it went from hcs to minishort stories with hcs lol Please send me more Lin I beg 🙏🏿
Nobody in Republic City actually believes Lin Beifong is married, and it is entirely your fault. Lin doesn’t hide her marriage; she wears her wedding ring everywhere, talks about you constantly, and has zero interest in anyone else.
The problem is that you're a vampire, you don't show up in photographs. Every picture in Lin's office looks like she's standing alone. Family photos have an empty space beside her. Vacation pictures make it seem like she took the trip by herself. To anyone who doesn't know the truth, there is absolutely no visual evidence that you exist.
So people flirt with her, constantly. Lin finds it irritating and you find it deeply offensive. Not because you're worried about Lin. You trust her completely. What bothers you is the principle of it. In your mind, she practically walks around covered in your scent. Her clothes, apartment and her office smells like you. To your instincts, it's obvious she's taken.
But humans were hopeless.
Lin was already annoyed when she walked through the apartment door. You could smell the sharp spike of adrenaline on her, hear it in the unusually heavy clatter of her keys hitting the counter, and see it in the rigid line of her jaw as she shrugged off her coat.
Without looking up from your spot on the couch, you spoke. “Who irritated you?”
Lin snorted, unlatching her armor with practiced irritation. “Take a wild guess.”
You tilted your head thoughtfully. “The city council?”
“No.”
“Tenzin?”
“No.”
“Me?”
Lin's eyes shined in amusement. “You’re always a possibility.”
You smiled, entirely unbothered. She rolled her eyes and disappeared into the kitchen, returning a moment later with a steaming mug of tea before dropping onto the cushions beside you. The second she settled, you leaned into her side.
Lin took a slow sip before speaking. “That guy from the coffee shop was there again.”
Your attention sharpened instantly, your body stiffening. “What guy?”
“Some random that doesn't understand boundaries.” Lin tells you.
Your eyes darkened, the irises bleeding into a volatile, pitch black as your fangs clicked sharply against your lower lip. “The one who keeps flirting with you?”
Lin looked like she didn't even want to tell you. Her voice lowered as she placed her tea down and pulled you more into her, her grip tight and unyielding as if to prevent you from going after him right this second. “Yes.”
Your vampric overprotective instinct flared to life as you growled, “I'll kill him.”
Lin tightened her arm around your waist and pulled you a little closer against her. “See, this is exactly why I didn't want to tell you.”
“What did he do?” You asked.
Lin's brow furrowed into a sharp line. The skin around her silver scars tightened as irritation settled across her features. She looked like someone who'd already had this conversation too many times.
“He asked me out again,” She said, the words coming out clipped. “I told him I'm married, like I do every single time, and he told me he wasn't giving up until I gave him a chance.”
“He said that?” You asked, your voice dangerously calm.
“Don't even think about it.” Lin warned, as she registered the subtle change in your demeanor. “Baby, he'll get the hint sooner or later.”
“I haven't said anything yet.”
Lin's calloused hand lifted to your chin as her warm fingers curled firmly around your jaw so you had no choice but to look directly into her eyes. “You didn't have to. You have that exact murderous look in your eyes you get seconds before you decide to bite someone.”
You adjusted so you were laying across her chest, as she pulled you in for a kiss. The moment her lips brushed against yours all of the previous tension melted away. Your fangs retracted as the soft press of her lips calmed the racing thoughts.
“I do not have a look, by the way,” You informed her. “This is simply my normal face when you tell me some human has been flirting with my beloved.”
A shiver tan through lin at the mention of your internal devotion to her. You could hear the rush of blood coursing through her veins as her pulse picked up. Your eyes darkened with lust as you hovered over her.
“You like it when I claim you, don't you?” You murmured, your lips grazing the high curve of her cheek. She took in a sharp, ragged breath. Your nostrils flared at the scent of her arousal as you breathed it in greedily.
You watched the smooth skin of her throat bob as she visibly swallowed, her fingers fisting into the fabric of your shirt with an iron clad grip that revealed hust how turned on she was. “I never said that.”
“You didn't have to.” Your voice dropped to a low resonance that seemed to cause her slick heat to drip from her cunt, ruining her underwear. “Your body is speaking for you baby and right now? I'm exactly what it needs.”
Lin let out a low, shuddered breath, her carefully constructed restraint beginning to fray. Your hand slowly slipped beneath the hem of her shirt, the cool contrast of your palm against her warm skin sending a sudden jolt through her. Her pupils were blown wide, her deep green irises nearly swallowed by darkness as she stared up at you with a desire that nearly had her arching into you.
Lin's fingers tangled firmly into your hair, she pulled you down, crashing her lips onto yours in a passionate kiss. The world outside the room faded as you focused entirely on the sensation of her under your touch and the quiet, breathless sounds she made as you spent hours reminding her that she belonged to no one else but you.

Lin detests how quietly you move. She would be buried in paperwork late at night in her office, completely convinced she was alone, only to hear your voice right against her ear asking if she’s eaten. You never hear her scream, her pride won't allow it. But you have definitely heard some of the most creative swearing in the history of your entire existence.
It gets to the point that she's tired of the mini heart attacks you keep giving her. So one night she crafts a sleek leather choker with a tiny, highly resonant brass bell and physically fastens the collar around your neck, tight.
“If you take it off, you're sleeping on the couch,” She barks, hands resting on your shoulders.
You just smirk, tilting your chin up to let the bell chime softly, and gave her a lazy, feline look. “A leather collar? I didn't know you were into that, Chief. If you wanted me on a leash, you could have just asked. I'm more than happy to be anything you want me to be.”
Lin’s face immediately turns as bright as the fire nation flag. She clears her throat, shoves a stack of police files into your chest, and snaps. “Take these home and get out before I lock you in a holding cell.”
You just bat your eyelashes at her, your eyes shifting into a teasing, warm crimson as your voice lowers into that smoky tone that gets her every single time.
“You promise?”
Lin fails to hide the sudden flutter in her pulse at your words. She grumbles something under her breath, pointedly pulling her eyes away from you so she can get back to work.

Because your schedules are mismatched, your relationship thrives in the dead of night, but your protective nature means you never truly stop watching over her. Whenever Lin is out on late-night triad raids or stakeouts, you sit back at home and use your second sight to track her across the city, extending your mind out into the shadows just to make sure she is safe. Lin always knows exactly when you’re doing it. She was a Beifong after all, which means she can physically feel her skin prickling with the distinct, heavy buzz of your supernatural energy that was cutting through the air around her.
It was distracting, hell, you knew your presence would distract her that was the point. You had been watching her for atleast an hour before Lin stumbled into the apartment at 3:00 AM, her armor clicking heavily against the floor as she walked straight up to where you are lounging, a scowl on her face.
“You were doing it again,” She accuses, crossing her arms and glaring down at you. “My neck was tingling throughout the entire stakeout, stop spying on me.”
You merely tilt your head, crimson eyes widening into a flawless picture of innocence that neither of you believed for a second.
“I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, sweetheart,” You reply smoothly. “Ive been sitting here reading this entire time.”
Lin narrows her eyes at you, the problem isn't that you're lying. It's that you're good at it. Or at least you think you are. A sharp grunt escapes her as she unclips her metal breastplate and sets it aside with more force than necessary. Years together has made her painfully familiar with all your tells. And right now, she could see the barely concealed satisfaction of someone who has been listening in on conversations that weren't meant for them.
“Uh-huh.”
“What?”
“You're full of it.”
You finally glance up from your book, expression wounded. Lin isn't fooled for a second. She settles down onto the couch beside you and you shift closer, your knee brushing hers.
For all her complaints about your inability to mind your own business, Lin has long since grown accustomed to your constant presence. There was something reassuring about it, even if she'd never admit it out loud. No matter where she was in the city, she knew some part of you was always aware of her.

You have a tendency to stare. It's one of those vampire habits that never really went away, no matter how long you've lived among people. Sometimes you'll settle into complete stillness and simply watch. Not because you're planning anything or because you've drifted away into thought. You just like looking at Lin.
When you're focused on something, you become unnervingly motionless. You can spend hours in the same spot, unblinking, your crimson eyes fixed entirely on your wife as she moves around the apartment.
The first time Lin caught you doing it, she genuinely thought something was wrong. Now, she mostly finds it ridiculous. She'll be making tea or getting ready for bed and eventually feel that familiar sensation of being watched. The moment she turns her head, she finds you exactly where she expected, sitting on the couch, curled in a chair, leaning against a doorway.
Always watching.
“Why are you staring at me?”
You blink, your ancient eyes widening slightly as the question genuinely surprises you.
“I'm looking at my wife.”
“That's not an answer,” She grumbles, though you can see the amusement in her eyes.
You shrug, “It is from where I'm sitting.”
Instead of breaking your gaze, you lean your chin on your hand and continue to track her with that same intense, focus, refusing to look away even as she snaps her casefile shut that she was reading like it was a bedtime story. Lin glares back at you, her jaw tightening as she tries to out-stare a vampire that has spent centuries mastering the art of absolute stillness.
“You're doing it on purpose now,” She complains, her voice dropping into a rough, dangerous tone that completely fails to intimidate you.
“Always,” You purr softly.
Lin lets out a sharp, frustrated grunt and grabs a spare pillow, hurling it straight at your face with perfect precision just to break your line of sight.
༶•┈┈⛧┈♛
When it comes to your feeding habits, you usually spare Lin of the gory details. She acts like she doesnt care, but deep down you know whether or not you're getting enough blood is a constant source of worry for her. She's seen first hand what happens when you neglect yourself.
Most of the time, Lin notices the signs before you do. She catches the way your movements lose their usual fluid energy, the slight edge that creeps into your voice whenever someone asks too many questions.
The one thing that really disturbs her is the way your crimson eyes slowly darken until your irises are nearly swallowed by pitch black. While most mates of vampires might not think much of the subtle shift, Lin catches onto it the second she suspects something is off.
“Have you fed?”
You groaned. “That's a strange way to phrase it.”
Lin raises a brow, “Answer the question.”
You sighed already knowing where this was going to go. “Not yet.”
The moment the words leave your mouth, Lin's posture goes rigid as her jaw tightens and her shoulders square. Before you can say another word, she steps directly into your space, her calloused hand coming up to cup your face while her thumb drags across your cheek before settling firmly beneath your eye.
“You look terrible.” She says bluntly,
You gasp dramatically, clutching a hand to your chest. With what little energy you have left, you muster up your usual playfulness, hoping you can charm your way out of whatever lecture is coming. Unfortunately, you're married to Lin Beifong, and she remains completely unmoved.
“Your eyes are almost black.” She states, her eyes narrowing as she studies you.
You wiggle them suggestively. “Baby, they tend to do that when I'm in a mood.”
“That's not-” Lin actually splutters before stopping herself. She pinches the bridge of her nose and takes a slow, grounding breath. “You know what I mean.”
“Do I really though?”
“So now we're playing dumb?”
You grin, it probably would have been more convincing if your fangs weren't completely showing, nipping your bottom lip which was also a sign of hunger. Before you can come up with another excuse, Lin's hand latches onto your wrist and tugs you forward.
You nearly lose your footing. “Hey, wait!”
“No.”
“Lin…” You whine pathetically.
She ignores you and continues to drag you out of the living room and toward your study. You are significantly stronger than she is, but that doesn't matter, because neither of you are under the illusion that this is a fight you're actually going to win. Once you're inside, the mini-fridge is ripped open and a moment later, she places a chilled glass of blood directly into your palms.
“There.”
You stare at it, then at her, then back down at the glass. Lin folds her arms tightly across her chest, her bare feet lightly tapping against the floor. The look on her face leaves absolutely no room for negotiation.
You weren't sure why you were suddenly becoming a little shy under her piercing gaze. “You are literally watching me.”
“Correct.” She deadpans, like she had been expecting you to try and talk your way out of this.
You clicked your tongue. “That's weird.”
She gave you a look. “Says the vampire.”
You let out a breath, sinking further into the chair. “You're violating my privacy.”
Lin scoffs in disbelief, her hands flexing at her sides. “That's rich coming from you”
You grumble a curse under your breath but finally give in. Lin doesn't move nor does she stop staring. She watches you the entire time with a deep furrow between her brows, her concern evident on her face despite how hard she tries to mask it. Every now and then her eyes would flicker over your features, making sure you're actually swallowing instead of finding some creative way to avoid it.
“You know,” You say after a taking a long sip, your lips and teeth stained with blood. “Most wives don't supervise their spouses like this.”
“Most wives don't have spouses who forget to feed themselves.” Lin fires back, reaching for a tissue so she could wipe your lips.
“I didn't forget.” Your shoulders slacken as you attempt to plead your case. “I was busy.”
Lin lets out a long-suffering, heavy sigh. “You've been alive for centuries and somehow I still have to remind you to take care of yourself.”
You take another greedy sip, mostly because arguing is becoming significantly harder now that her lecture is actually making sense. Slowly, the healthy color starts returning to your face, and the dark shadows beneath your eyes begin to ease.
Some of the rigid tension finally leaves her shoulders, her foot stops its impatient tapping, and the hard line of her mouth softens ever so slightly. It is the exact reaction she'd been waiting for, proof that you were actually well, you.
You catch the way her eyes linger on your face and smile at her. “Aw, I love you too baby.”
Lin rolls her eyes hard. “Don't start with me.”
“You were worried.”
“I wasn't, you're immortal.” Lin lies.
“You dragged me across the apartment.” You pointed out, your eyes shining with mischief.
“You were being stubborn.” She counters, her eyes looking anywhere but you.
“You stayed and watched me drink the entire thing.” You added.
“You needed supervision.” Lin supplies.
Your grin widens, and Lin lets out a soft groan. Then, after a brief pause, she reaches over and gently cups your cheek. The gesture is quick, almost reluctant, but her thumb brushes across your skin anyway. You feel much healthier now.
“Don't do that again,” She commands, the irritation is still there, but underneath it sits something much softer, a quiet vulnerability that makes your chest ache a little.
You lean into her hand, your eyes locking onto hers. “I'll try.”
Lin's nose wrinkles. “That's not reassuring.”
You kiss the palm of her hand, letting your lips linger there to soothe her worries. “It's the best you're getting.”
Lin sighs heavily, her eyes melting with relief, and she steps in to press a kiss to your forehead before you can make another smart comment.

When you do go out to dinner and you have to keep up appearances, You prefer your food rare, and by rare, you mean blue. Lin judges your plate every single time you order a raw steak at a restaurant and hides her face in embarrassment when you have to explain to the chef and the manager that you'll be okay and it wont kill you.
Thia particular evening, your usual spot was closed for renovations, so after nearly an hour of searching up places you finally found a table at this restaurant that was a further drive but still had the intimate atmosphere you were going for. Lin looked beautiful in her dress that hugged her in all the right places.
The night had been going smoothly right up until the waiter came to take your order. “And how would you like your steak cooked?”
You smiled pleasantly at the young man. “As rare as possible.”
The waiter nodded, scribbling on his pad. “Rare. Got it.”
“No, I don't think you do.” Lin snorts, she could practically feel a disaster approaching.
You tilted your head, you were wearing colored contacts because when you didn't, it drew too much attention and tonight was supposed to be about you and Lin.
“What she means,” You continued cheerfully, ignoring her unnecessary commentary. “Is that I want my steak blue if possible.”
The waiter blinked. “Blue rare?”
“Yes.” You nod.
He looked skeptical. His eyes traveled to Lin for help, and when he realized he wasn't getting it his gaze lowered to the penpad and pencil that was trembling in his hand. “Like... seared?”
“Barely.”
The poor man looked entirely confused, deeply concerned, then confused all over again. Lin dragged a heavy hand down her face. Her posture practically deflated under the weight of the waiter’s bewildered stare. She pressed two fingers to her temples, her cheeks flushing a furious pink that she desperately tried to mask by squinting hard at the bread basket.
“Just write it down,” Lin advises, reaching for her wine.
The waiter hurried away before either of you could elaborate. The moment he was gone, Lin pointed her fork aggressively at you before stabbing her salad. “You enjoy making people uncomfortable.”
You leaned back in your chair, sitting on an angle as your eyes raked her body. “I ordered food baby just like you did.”
Lin pretended she didnt feel the way your eyes kept trailing down her body. “You ordered a health code violation and spooked a teenager.”
“Eat your salad.” You chuckled, your fangs catching the dim light. “The sooner I can get that dress off of you the better.”

Because your body is naturally dead, you have to actively concentrate to circulate what little warmth you have to match human body heat. Sometimes, when you are exhausted or deeply distracted, you completely forget to regulate your temperature. You’ll casually slide your hand into Lin's or drape your arm over her shoulder while she's working from home and the freezing chill of your skin always makes her instantly lock up. She always compares it to touching solid ice.
A sharp spike of panic hits Lin every single time it happens. She will drop whatever she is doing, wrap both of her calloused hands around yours, and glare at you with wide, intense eyes.
“You're freezing. What's wrong?” She demands, her voice laced with worry.
“Nothing is wrong, baby. I just forgot to keep my temperature up, it's fine.” You try to explain, offering a reassuring smile.
Lin dismisses your explanation outright, Her hands move briskly over your skin, rubbing your arms in an attempt to force some life back into limbs.
A deep crease forms between her brows, intense anxiety settling across her features as she studies you. “You are freezing.”
You open your mouth to reassure her, but she shakes her head sharply before you can even get a syllable out. “Absolutely not.”
Her palms slide upward, framing your jaw as she cups your face, her hot skin contrasting sharply against your icy flesh. “You feel like a corpse.”
You raise an eyebrow, a teasing smirk pulling at your lips. “I am technically a corpse.”
“That's not the point,” She says, a sharp huff of exasperation hitting your face like a warm breath. Her green eyes flash with a naked vulnerability that makes you soften. “You don't usually feel like this.”
A small laugh slips from you, but Lin remains entirely unconvinced, her grip tightening to anchor you. “Sit down.”
“Baby-”
“Sit.” She orders.
You allow her to steer you toward the couch, knowing from experience that arguing against her protective instincts is a lost cause. The second you're seated, she crowds into your space, one hand resting firmly against the side of your neck while the other wraps securely around your wrist as she climbs into your lap.
“Did something happen?” She asks, her voice gentle. “Did you overdo it? Lose too much energy?”
“Baby,” You trailed off, not sure what has gotten into her. “I swear I'm fine.”
Her eyes sharpens. “That wasn't the question.”
“What, you think I can't handle you?” You were a little offended that she thought hours of love making during the day would tire you out. It was true, you were rarely up at this hour but with her changing to overnight shifts the next three days you made some adjustments.
Lin shuffles in your lap, heat creeping up her neck as her arms circle around you. “Why must you be like this.”
You responded by sinking effortlessly into her hold, resting your head into the crook of her neck. Your cold cheek pressing against her hot skin. Lin hums softly, the low vibration rumbling deep in her chest as her fingers slide into your hair. It didn't take long for your body to warm up again, and lin held you until you eventually drifted off to sleep.
An: I had to split this in two parts. The next one should be out soon because I cant get enough of them.
