This is actually falling together rather well...
Chalk another one up to diligence and well organized notes.

Oh ummm… hello. I’m Desmond. Who might you be?
A virus. How goes the little program? Desmond, you said?
A… virus…? Yes… sir. Good, sir. Just… just fine.
Sir? I don’t believe I have ever had anyone call me by that title before.
I like it.
Now Desmond, who is ‘good’ and ‘just fine’, tell me, what puts you in such a good mood?
It's just a... a formality sir.
What? Me? Well... usually tidying up the flat makes me feel... pretty good.

I see. Um, I suppose there is more currently available on Tron City and the System in general. If you end up focusing on the ISOs, though, I would be able to assist you in that. I have some damaged discs from both Bostrum and Arjia—about fifty of them that have enough of them intact to be able to retrieve memories from them.
I did mention an entire history of the Grid, didn’t I? -cracks a bit of a shy smile- Those would be great. Any time you can get them to me. I’m not in much of a hurry. Don’t know what I would do with myself if I ever actually finished. Though, history is always in the making, isn’t it? …Like and endless waltz…
Certainly—I can even compress the contents and note what discs I found them on, just for easier transportation. Much easier to have ten discs dropped onto your desk, instead of fifty.
… I feel as if it does not go at the same tempo, some nights. That there is more history in others. I suppose, though, that even the quiet nights are notable, even if no one remembers them.
That would certainly be a great help. Organization is the key, right?
Just because no one remembers them, doesn't mean they are any less important. I think the times of peace are equally important, even more so than the anything else. Someone has to remember them, even if no one wants to remember.
I understand that feeling completely. Trying to come into things in the middle of the story can be overwhelming, but all this history did not happen overnight. No one will expect you to put it together overnight, either.
Well, the users say Rome wasn’t built in a day. So I suppose it would be unfair if I had such expectations put on me. But don’t think I won’t try my best to get it done in an orderly fashion.
Of course! I look forward to seeing progress on your work, too. Will you be tackling a particular region, or time period first?
I honestly don’t know. I figured I would start with one general section and work my way forwards and eventually backwards from there.

Ah, hello.
Hello! My name is Orianna. I do not believe I have seen you before, so it is a pleasure to meet you, um…?
Desmond. My name is Desmond. And it is a pleasure to meet you as well, Miss.
A pleasure to meet you too, Desmond. May I ask what your function is?
I’m an archiver. My function is to keep a chronological history of the Grid. Which is… -he sighed- turning out to be quite the job.

It’s gonna be okay! Uh— *hugs his leg* This always makes me feel better when people do that. Um… I guess jus’ make a list of people you wanna talk to, and then make it into a bunch of teeny tiny lists? Then it would feel like you could do everything!
-looks down, a bit startled- Oh umm… thank you.
That… doesn’t sound like a bad idea. If I micro manage and get everything into order, I could have this go a bit more smoothly. Thank you, Luc.
*grins broadly* You’re welcome, Desmond! An’ when I’m big I can help you get places, especially if they’re really long drives, an’ I can tell you stuff I know with words that make sense! Okay?
I would really like that. It would be a great help. So... how long are you stuck like that for? Can't be too long, can it?

I am. Very new. I believe this is the end of my…. third day on the Grid now?
Don’t worry about it, please. It looks like a lot of you are busy with other things. I don’t need a big hello or anything.
Oh. Well, welcome to the Grid! If you don’t mind my asking, what’s your function? What do you do here?
Thank you. I’m an archiver. My function is to chronicalize the history of the Grid. Or at least gather what there is and put it into chronological order.
Oh, that sounds interesting! Let me know if you need any assistance; I’ve been on the Grid for a very long time, I might be able to dig some things up for you.
Actually, that would be really helpful. I think I'm running myself into the ground right now, trying to sort through all that I have.
I can be really smart when I want to be!
… uhm… maybe you want an older program as an assistant? I mean, I wanna help but I kind of was dead for a really really long time! Oh—you could talk to the sad man or the pretty woman who live at the safehouse! They’re really smart. And old. They know the stuff that happened way way back, too, cause they’re imorp—isof—special programs!
Oh, I don’t doubt that for a moment.
Special programs? You mean… like ISOs? I’ve read about them, but as you can see I’m still young and haven’t gotten out much. Sorting through all of this history is making my processors swim… Any help would be good help.
Yeah! That’s them! There’s four of ‘em here right now, cause CLU left, but there’s Quorra who’s awesome and she fights really well, an’ there’s Jalen who is always really sad and he doesn’t know how to play Scrabble even though I thought he did, an’ then Radia is really pretty and she said she would play Scrabble with me, an’ then Orianna stares a lot but she makes tasty food so she’s okay.
… oh yeah, also I’m bad at ‘splainin, cause I’m a zip file. My friend Madison said I start making up words.
They sound like… a really enjoyable bunch. -rubs the back of his neck- I can’t say I honestly blame them though, considering the history the ISOs have, I wouldn’t be very happy either. Man are there a lot of people I have to talk to. -groans-
