quick reminder i don’t really have an interest for things where allison is dead and we like to ignore canon on this blog so while i appreciate most people write canon and it might be default to put her death in replies and what not, i won’t be doing that. you’re welcome to use her death in one sided stuff like memes but i won’t be replying to anything that incorporates her death. it’s in my rules although i guess rules died out last year :’) but yeah. i’m not gonna write it.

clap clap. honestly how were they supposed to know scott was a good person/gonna be a true alpha when they didn’t even know him? they were doing their job as actually caring parents.

i mean at the end of the day if your daughter is your entire universe and especially the only child you have and she starts dating a kid who at this point is rubbing it in your face that he’s a damn werewolf like he did in s2, as if mocking them for wanting to protect her... yeah i’d probably wanna bloody kill him too. not that it excuses anything because for example victoria should NOT have tried to kill scott but at the same time from a human instinct to protect you can kinda get what drove her there. chris just has that immature dad thing at first of ‘wow my daughter is dating haha i hate him :)’ but then it turns into real danger and he’s damn well justified in wanting to scare scott away. and idc what anyone says about it :’)

sometimes i see people acting like allison’s parents don’t love her / treat her badly / are too harsh or are cruel for hating scott at first when all they really want is for a supernaturally enhanced boy linked to dangerous people and situations to stop putting her life at risk. and i get that 16 year olds think their romance is the ‘great love of their life’ but 9 out of 10 times it isn’t and listen i love scott but tbh it’s about time we accept that chris and victoria aren’t bad people for just wanting to keep their daughter away from the kid with an affliction they’ve seen turn the sweetest, most gentle people into animals with poor control who could hurt countless innocent people with one bad full moon; the same boy who happens to also have ties to the monstrous serial killer with a vendetta against their family. and of course his links to that family were not by choice but peter being a piece of shit is a rant for another day. my point rn is their family isn’t perfect by any means but neither :) are :) the :) werewolves :))) and nobody can say they haven’t adored allison from the first moment she was born.
