Pursuing comics as a career has proven more discouraging than it has encouraging. A lot of things have fallen through, a lot of things didn't work and I've had to move past them for the time being. It feels like I've taken steps backwards a lot of the time. Luckily, I thrive off of that. When something doesn't work, I have four more ideas anyway, so that's fine. And when two things don't work, one thing will. And that one thing, a lot of the time, is enough. Here's to picking yourself up, to brushing off the dirt, and taking one step forward at a time. And relishing in that step. I'm determined, and I want it.
