Descender, Vol. 3: Singularities, by Jeff Lemire, Dustin Nguyen

Such a great volume! It's filled with tons of flashbacks. We get to learn so much more about everyone's histories and how they became who they are now. Also, best robot bromance I've ever seen 😭💔

Looking at the gigachad Rene de Petrichor's notes again and I now think that we know the name of the Star eyed youth that the voyager possessed cuz in his notes he writes that:

"The origin of this is a tragedy of unknown provenance that has been passed down by persons unknown to this day. Said play is called "Ajax," or "Aias." He was the second-strongest warrior in his alliance."

This note made people think that Hero Ajax was the second descender but we now know he was probably the third and assume that the voyager was the second. But we know that she "descended underground" and met Koitar underneath Irminsul. This is similar to hero Ajax who fell underground (look at my previous crack theory post before this one I explain more in the comments). So its not that weird if their names got confused with each other after thousands of years and the play has two names because of this
