I think tying the F1 movie so closely to the actual sport of F1 is probably a cinematic misfire bc it seems like every driver outside of Brad Pitt and Damson are actual drivers and now this looks like a weird fictionalized drive to survive. And half of drive to survive is already sort of fictionalized anyway so now what…

I feel like half of the audience will be like- oh I’ve already seen this on netflix- and then the cinephiles will be like, why is max verstappen acting??
