Wuko would be funny to me for a few reasons

Wu 1000% brags about how handsome and accomplished his husband is at every possible opportunity but would also fully call him an idiot and make fun of him when he does dumb stuff.

It would mean everyone in the Krew goes from "romance before friendships" to "friendships before romance" giving us some really fantastic character growth.

Wu is not even in the realm of being Mako's type and I know he'd be mad to realize he's into wu. Not because wu is a guy, but because it's Wu.

I just know wu would do something dramatic daily for the sole purpose of Mako carrying him and unfortunately mako would love him enough to do it

So I thought maybe dropping some explanation can be cool. Starting with timeline it's somewhere after book2 but before book3 (I messed up with first part cause Mako should be sleeping like under his desk at police and Bolin would be already in air temple so pls ignore the start a bit)

Really wanted to point out why older bros being kinda moody. You know they had it rough on the streets and putting them back would be heartless, but in a world can't be two same people, so there's nothing they can do... They still don't know what is it and can't even be sure (so am I if you ask me)

Summary:

The man doesn’t shake Wu’s hand. Instead, he bends into a bow, lifts Wu’s hand to his face, and presses a kiss to his knuckles, gaze on Wu the entire time.

Mako flinches like he’s been shocked. Wu, eyes fixed on the man in front of him, barks out a surprised, breathless laugh.

“That’s the proper way to greet a king, right?” The man asks with a sheepish grin. “I’m sorry, I’m just a commoner. I don’t really know the etiquette.” “No, that was–that was fine,” Wu assures him, a little dazed.

“Not customary, but fine.” Mako glowers at the two of them. Something in his gut tells him this guy already knows he’s not being customary.

After Wu's failed coronation, Mako takes Wu out to help him feel better. He's not happy when someone else does a better job of it.

Summary: "I don't want Bolin to see my scars," he finally says, oh so quietly. Wu's eyes immediately dart toward Mako's arm. Mako catches the motion and shakes his head. He glances down the beach, sees the others still wholly wrapped up in their game, and quickly, as if he's trying to outrace his own doubts, lifts the hem of his shirt.

The first thing Wu notices is a starburst of red, raised skin, little branching lines trailing away from the point of impact like roots from a tree. A lightning scar, just like the ones twisting their way up his arm. It must have been nasty to blister the skin badly enough to scar. It sits on Mako's lower abdomen, over his left hip, like someone was aiming for his heart and missed.

Bolin’s jaw dropped.

“Oh spirits,” he whispered. “Oh spirits. Ikki, what if you’re right?” Ikki gasped dramatically.

“Of course I’m right! I know love when I see it!” Bolin dragged a hand down his face.

“No way! Mako would’ve told me!”

“Are you sure?” Ikki asked, relentless. “Because if he didn’t tell you, maybe it’s because it’s a secret. Or maybe he’s scared you’d tease him. Or maybe—”

“Okay, okay, okay!” Bolin flailed his hands, trying to stop the flood of words. “But… but Wu? King Wu? My brother could be dating the Earth King?!”

Summary:
