Disturbing the peace
Thinking about how Dana told Frank that Abby might not want a new dog to take care of, and then Frank sat with Mel King, who loves dogs, petting a dog between her legs as they shared a beautifully intimate moment.
Thinking about how Abby threatened to leave Frank, but Mel told him she didn't want him to leave.
I just. I'm thinking.

Honestly Frank Langdon could look right into the camera and say he has a happy marriage and I still wouldn’t believe him.
frank langdon having a staring problem in season two of the pitt (2026)
listen if i was frank langdon and my wife threatened to leave me and take the kids but didn't even though our marriage has been shaky for a while and i've stopped wearing my wedding ring sometimes because i'm a failure and i went back to work in shame but then had mel king look at me with her big earnest eyes and tell me that that i never let her down and i'm exactly where i need to be because she trusts me more than anyone else in the hospital, i'd fall in love with her under the fireworks too
i really don’t need an abby langdon casting or an abby langdon + kids in the pitt scenario. half the fun is keeping her this entity we only get bits and pieces of through a one sided lens and we get to fill in the blanks.
Kingdon spooning thoughts?
Of course Frank loves being the big spoon, and Mel absolutely loves to be wrapped in his arms and surrounded by him. She likes the feel of his long body behind hers and the feel of his strong arms around her, and she especially likes how he somehow manages to fit his legs into the bend of hers, even though he's so much taller than her.
Mel really really wants to try being the big spoon, though, so she asks Frank one night, whispering it to him right before they fall asleep. Frank thinks it's so damn cute that she wants to try. So they wiggle around until Mel is all tucked up around Frank's back, her arms around him and her hands, so much smaller than his, linked across his chest.
Frank falls asleep immediately. It's one of the best sleeps he's ever had. Mel is very proud of herself.
I wonder that you will still be checking your phone, Frank Langdon: nobody calls/texts you
when frank goes home he goes home to a wife that thinks he's a loser but when he goes to work his coworker runs up to him in delight and smiles at him like a sunbeam
