When I read this in school, my teacher informed me that this would have actually been the most exciting part for people hearing it back then because they were all from the places that those heroes were from. So, when you heard your homeland’s name you would have cheered. My teacher compared it to a celebrity at a concert saying something along the lines of, “I grew up in texas… anyone here from texas?” and the Texans cheering. Anyway, I’ve always just thought that that was interesting

My teacher said the same thing, as I recall. Now I’m thinking about it, I remember that he assigned us each a place to pretend to be from and gave us a list of the attached ship and had us simulate the situation with the most enthusiasm seventh period honors sophomore English students can summon.

"grace let our dad die" your dad SUCKED he orchestrated this whole thing to manipulate you from beyond the grave! you all threw an impromptu dance party at his funeral, that's how much he sucked! "dad was murdered" who cares???? who actually cares. move on, moon man

everything klaus does is so intricately and vitally intertwined with every single major plot point in the show and yet he is always on some bizarre side quest. simultaneously the most and least plot involved character.

All of the Hargreeves siblings are bad people.  Not in the way you’d describe someone morally deficient, but in the same way as you’d call someone a bad dancer or a bad plumber when they lack the expected skill set.  They just suck at being humans in a society.

I would just like to say, though, that I'm SO proud of Five and Viktor, just in general, they are the coolest brothers i could ask for and i know it doesn't seem like it because of my chronic slackitude but i really look up to them. I never really got to have much heart to heart with anyone except Ben and Allison, because I'm inherently hard to take seriously and I'm always drifting off to do stupid crap on my own, aside from Five and Viktor being seperated seperated so long, and boy this is a run-on sentence, but I really deeply respect them and I wish I'd had the strength or credibility to say it more. I miss you guys.
