As you may have guessed I'm back to doing a page a day. I'm not overwhelming myself with the 3-5 pages a day like before, and since the Comic is now on a bi-weekly update schedule, I can afford to miss a day or only do half if I have chores to do. Not much of an update in the script department, only about half a chapter. Once my room is finished with its update, (meaning I get a bed and such) I should be able to resume script work. But for now I have up to CH 10 finished script wise.

Styles comparison. I re-did the covers to help me understand this new system. On the left, Old Comic Life, on the right, Comic Life 3 .I did my best to re-capture the custom styles I did before...

So I finally have a desk at my new place, as I resume working Comic Life keeps crashing, I check it out and it turns out Im working on a way outdated version. So... prepare for a format upgrade...

So, it is the 19th... and well, as you might have guessed from the lull in activity here, I have failed my NaNoWriMo COGS Challenge... What with the stress of moving and everything... -Sigh-

But! There is an up side! Although I did not reach my 107 page goal, I did do 45 pages. 45 Glorious pages that will be posted on the COGS Smack Jeeves site over the next 6-7 months! http://cogs.smackjeeves.com They will be released on a bi-weekly update schedule. One on monday, one friday. I may have come up short on this Challenge, but I now know I can make a full chapter or a litter more in under a month. So I plain to, at the start of every month, attempt a Chapter Challenge. In which I complete a scripted chapter of COGS. Next month this should be easy, as I've already got 6 pages and the cover of CH 8 done.

Page one of today's three is the CH 8 cover. Chapter 8, Strings. Not as much action in this chapter, but a lot of explaining and talking.

This is the last panel from Chapter 7 I can show you. I have officially finished this chapter. But a reminder, these pages I'm working on won't be released until December. And even then they will be released on a tri-weekly bases. (Not all at once) 

Tomorrow I start work on CH 8. Strings.

I'm posting this because I'm making real improvements with my style, But the full version of this panel has spoilers, so I hid a layer. Even went so far as to blur the Layer preview on the side widow. And the name of the shade layer, as it's named after the hidden layer. But the shade is not hidden, if you look closely you can see it applying darkness to nothing...

3 Pages to do today. I can't post much from the end of this chapter, (Spoilers) but here is a panel from page 23 panel 4. (CH7) This is the longest chapter I have written, 25 pages.

AH, look at the making of these pages! I wonder what there talking about? or why Calvin Is growing more and more anxious... The program I use for page construction is Comic Life.

I have come to the realization that I am in 100% art mode. But I am also in the process of moving so my Pokemon Games are packed, so are most of my sewing supplies, and books. So there is not much else I could do.
