This is dress rehearsal for an indie match they have booked in two days. As much as the two have trained together, Seth and Mo.x have rarely ended up in ring together in front of an audience, so extra preparation was something Jon insisted on immediately for safety.

Of course, one thing has led to another, and as Mox hits the mat hard after taking a small package driver like a champ, he lets Seth get the proverbial three count without a fight and lets out a wheeze as he's then pushed onto his back flat and straddled there.

Mo.x stares up at his boyfriend, his sweaty short hair plastered to his face, eyes wide, grin warm.

"Good work. Don't think I'm going that easy on you at the show."

Seth smiled down at Mox from his spot straddling his hips. His hair had fallen in his face like it almost always did during his matches so he brushed it away.

"I know you won't. I'd be disappointed if you did. Think everyone would be able to tell if you took it easy, especially me."

He rolled his hips, teasingly, before getting up and going to grab water. He brought one back and sat down on the mat as he drank, cooling off.

"It feels good, let's take a break before doing it again because I need to cool off." He handed one of the waters over

Adam was glad to finally be back at work. As much as he missed being backstage or in the ring, he'd especially missed being on the road, traveling with his husband. He realized how much he missed their routines as they were relaxing and deciding what to eat. "We haven't had Indian or Chinese in a while. How 'bout we get one this time and one next time." He suggested.

“That sounds good to me,” Kenny replied as he relaxed more into his position. “But the million dollar question is: what is standing out to you more? Because there's options for both options..” He added as he glanced over at his husband with a smile. He waited for Adam to make the final decision before pulling up the menu so they could go over their options together.

"let's do Chinese food. Eggrolls sound good, honestly." Adam said as he leaned in to look at the menu when his husband pulled one up on his phone. Once they had ordered they had nothing else to do. "Can I play with your hair?"

Adam had certainly tried to be thorough. He hadn't meant to interrupt lunch but Mox didn't too upset about it at least. He managed to stay still waiting for him to say anything.

Yeah, he remembered naming the car wash company. He hadn't figured out who was behind them either, not yet anyway. "I know there's a person or people behind it somewhere but all I'm finding so far is shell companies." Adam said as he scratched his neck. "I keep finding another one, just one after another. I'm not sure how much further I can dig. " He said feeling apologetic.

"The great part about being in a gang," Mox imparts, is that when you hit a dead end, you don't end up stuck there alone. There's someone to boost you over the wall, or reach down from above to yank you up if it really comes to that." He mulls over the information he's been provided in silence for a very long time, brain whirring through options, through paths forward.

"You won't be alone on it from here, but you'll have to pick who you want to work with to dig deeper." This, too, is a test. Of all of the lieutenants, who does Adam think is his best bet?

Stupidly, Adam hadn't thought to ask any of the lieutenants for help. He'd gone back to his boss with the information he'd found, and been reminded of that.

He took his information and went to find Claudio to see if he could help him with this particular wall. He could ask one of the others but he thought he'd be the best to ask first.

He handed him the information, or the part he needed help with at least. "There's more to this, but that's where I ran into a wall. Think you should ask Mox if I can let you see the whole file."
