During the latter part of the first decade of the 21st century, the TASTE OF CHAOS tour was one of the top festival draws, serving as a platform for many post-hardcore and metal acts, but in 2010, the festival organizers decided the time had come to retire the brand. However, after a successful revival last year, Rockstar Energy Drink TASTE OF CHAOS Festival is back for 2016.

The current incarnation of Rockstar Energy Drink TASTE OF CHAOS Festival will be a traveling festival with Taking Back Sunday and Dashboard Confessional atop the bill, and a reunited Saosin featuring returning vocalist Anthony Green and The Early November also confirmed for the run. Other acts just announced for the San Bernardino, Calif. tour ender on July 16 include Quicksand, The Get Up Kids, The Starting Line, Senses Fail, The Anniversary, Hot Rod Circuit and Reggie and the Full Effect.

COLDCOCK Whiskey Teams Up with 20th Century Fox to Cross-Promote DEADPOOL Home Video Release and the 'Put It In Your Mouth' Campaign

The Merc with a Mouth has a new favorite whiskey! COLDCOCK American Herbal Whiskey has partnered with 20th Century Fox to promote the Home Video release of Deadpool, the highest grossing R-Rated Movie of all time.

The partnership includes the release of a Deadpool / COLDCOCK Whiskey marketing campaign that includes printed point-of-sale materials for bars and retail stores as well as a large scale billboard activation in multiple states throughout the country. In anticipation of the Bluray/DVD/Digital release, COLDCOCK Whiskey will also be promoting a special chance to win Deadpool prize packages via social media accounts @coldcockwhiskey. In Deadpool, Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) is a former Special Forces operative who now works as a mercenary. COLDCOCK WHISKEY Takes Over SXSW with Multiple Artist Showcases

COLDCOCK Whiskey will be out in full force this week at SXSW in Austin, TX, sponsoring two different showcases.

First, 3Thirteen Entertainment Group's showcase, the "313EG's Show Down", will take place at the Dirty Dog Bar (505 E 6th St.) on Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March 18. The showcase will run from 11am-6pm each day and feature performances by The Dukes, DJ Starscream (Sid of Slipknot) and COLDCOCK sponsored artists Era 9, The Convalescence, Meka Nism, The ReAktion, Final Drive, Blood of an Outlaw and Sectas.

Also taking place on Friday, March 18 is the Five Seven Music showcase at The Market (319 Colorado St.). The Five Seven Music showcase will feature performances by ANTCS, Charles Grant and El Gant and kicks off at 6pm.

COLDCOCK WHISKEY Announces Official Battle of the Bands Winner - Minneapolis, MN's CITY OF THE WEAK!

After months of battling it out, the COLDCOCK Whiskey Battle of the Bands has come to a conclusion and the judges have spoken. City of the Weak, hailing from Minneapolis, MN is the victor! Over 200 bands signed up and over 40 judges voted on the 13 finalists.

City of the Weak will receive the grand prize of a year-long booking agency deal with CAA, a record deal with Another Century Records, a management deal with Street Smart Management, a year-long sponsorship with Krank Amplifiers, a custom COLDCOCK Whiskey Schecter Guitar, gear from Monster Products, Vic Firth Drum Sticks, Remo Drum Heads, Miktek Microphones, a feature in Revolver Magazine and a PR campaign through Adrenaline PR.

These young, energetic rockers haven't slowed down since they released their sophomore EP Disclosure in April 2014. They are best known for their intensity on stage, as well as their personality off the stage. PopWrapped states, "They're all attitude all of the time and they do it in an unapologetic fashion."

COLDCOCK Herbal Flavored Whiskey is proud to announce the finalists for the COLDCOCK Battle of the Bands contest! Bands from all over the United States competed for four months for a chance to win a year-long booking contract with a major booking agency, a record deal with Century Media/Another Century Records, a management deal with Street Smart, a gear deal with Krank Amplifiers, a PR deal with Adrenaline PR and gear from Monster Products, Schecter Guitars, Remo Drumheads and Vic Firth.

COLDCOCK American Herbal Whiskey is announcing their first-ever official “Battle of the Bands”, offering unsigned bands the chance of a lifetime: a year-long agency deal with one of the top booking agencies in the industry! Additional prizes will include a Record Deal with Century Media Records/Another Century Records, a Management Deal through Street Smart Management, COLDCOCK Whiskey-branded Schecter Guitars, a Sponsorship deal with KRANK Amplifiers, custom REMO Drumheads, Miktek Microphones, Monster Products prize packs, Vic Firth drum sticks and more. This unique “Battle of the Bands” contest is designed to actively give up-and-coming artists hands-on experience with representing themselves professionally in the industry.

WHAT IS THIS ABOUT, AND HOW DO I ENTER?

Rock, hard rock and metal bands can earn points by responsibly promoting COLDCOCK Whiskey to their 21+ fans. The top ten bands with the most points will be chosen as finalists. Finalists will be judged by a celebrity panel of judges (based on originality of material, songwriting skills, public appeal) for a chance at the grand prize. The contest takes place from May 1, 2015 until August 31, 2015. All band members from participating bands must be 21+.
