Some native Australian flora... we’ve got some weird-ass plants down here tbh.
Predominantly ink, with a little watercolour to brighten it up.

Went to see ‘The persistence of memory’ by Dali at the NGV today, it may only be little but you can easily get lost in a piece like that.
Today’s Inkober drawing is obviously Dali inspired, but I thought I’d try out wet-on-wet ink this time. It’s definitely harder than it looks... but oh so satisfying.
Thought I'd last a little longer before breaking out the lazy doodles but at least I put pen to paper, which is more than I can say for the last 2-3 years... whoops. 10 minute scribble done in (smudgey) ballpoint after a shit day, don't judge me haha.
My first ever attempt at Inktober, featuring my cute pooches. I’ve always admired the work of other participants but could never commit to it myself, hopefully this year will be different.
I didn’t have any sepia so I used a touch of watercolour instead, and I haven’t hatched anything since primary school, so this was a test of my (incredibly rusty) inking skills.
Made a terrarium cheesecake for my best friends birthday, layered with Oreo, Maltesers, and modeling chocolate succulents. I was considering using chocolate rocks to make it more realistic, but Maltesers are just too irresistible.
My little brother has been requesting a crepe cake for his birthday for the last 2 years and I finally found the time to make him one. As he's a big fan of seafood too, I decided to make it a 'seafood crepe' cake, complete with biscuit crumb sand, salted caramel filling, and marshmallow fondant sealife.
This guy is a fucking genius, the cake is beautiful!

Went to pick some fresh strawberries and have afternoon tea with the family today. Now to decide what to do with the fruits of our labour...
maybe a sponge cake?
Casual co-ord using my favourite print from BTSSB.
Unfortunately, after travelling to Europe and eating way too much delicious food, I can no longer fit it. I'll have to get out and get active again now that the weather's warming up.

This is so stupidly soothing, what a cute mutt.

Friend: I feel like I haven’t seen you in aaages.
Me: Really? It’s only been a w…
Friend: It’s been a WHOLE week since we last hung out!
Me: … … ...
I recently bought myself a dressform and I still haven’t used it for it’s intended purpose... whoops.
I just bought myself a new camera, and my first test was (of course) a picture of Madame Bissonnette!
I’m fabulous.
