Over time I’m slowly starting to learn that I’m a lot better at three-dimensional art than anything two-dimensional.

Like, sculpting and painting a 3D figure is so much easier than… literally any 2D medium I’ve ever tried.

I guess it makes me kind of sad? I’ve tried and given up so many times on 2D art and although I’ve been trying a LOT the past few months, I don’t feel as though I’ve improved at all. And it makes me feel too ashamed to be posting anything.

But 3D? It comes so easy. So easy in fact that I’m planning to make something bigger.

I don’t know how I’ll take it if that something bigger ends up better than anything I’ve drawn in the past 6 months, but I’m not really going to let that stop me.

Still no doodles, BUT I found something I can do without hunching over

I’m doing one with a face plate (just cause) and one without. This is air dry clay so it won’t need to be fired. I hope these little guys will make up for the lack of doodles <3

I tried a bit harder to replicate the chibi style hsr has HOWEVER… Robin’s head is too far to the left. (Also I refuse to draw hands today)

This one will DEFINITELY get a redraw bc I did not do my girl justice. Also I spent like an hour trying to figure out the hair and the wings and by the time I got to the rest of it I was DONE

You gotta draw bad before you can draw good I guess…
