I remember it well a couple sins ago, I found myself an open stretch of road. Well the gnomes they would say it wasn’t safe. But the butterflies agreed, they wanted to play. So I laid myself down, I threw my ways out. And I spent a couple nights just gazing at the lights. But then the farmers came with their pitchforks and rakes. And I said to myself, this is little earthquakes. So I loaded myself into a gun and I shot my way through their pretty rock songs.

This was the second song I ever recorded several years ago. Somehow it became lost in a catalog of files until I decided to go through all of my older stuff. I’m sharing it now because it has great meaning to me.

At the time I didn’t see any beauty in what i had created. I didn’t think it was good and I didn’t think it was relevant. I felt like I had to create a different way because my music didn’t sound like the rest. I didn’t realize that I shouldn’t care.

Perfection is not what I create.
