Unfortunately, we have to be here a little bit longer.” Cole sighed deeply. “Life is a shitty thing sometimes. To be honest, I was half asleep. I thought I’d only have to take music classes this semester, but it turns out I still had a science to do. Fuckin’ wonderful.”

“Can we just ban college from the calender's for good? I would love it if we could just skip past the rest of this year and move on with our lives. I’m fucking exhausted, man.” Cole complained, yawning after the long day first day back he had. “How are your classes looking?”

“I’m not bothered by it. People always think I’m coming at them with everything I do. It’s sort of my thing at this point around these parts. You didn’t offer to take shots with me? I’m a little offended. Ah, TJ Tavares, the walking herpe of Cyprus Has he come on to you too?”

“I never said I didn’t like handcuffs. I just said I didn’t like being handcuffed to a stranger. There’s a difference. I can’t say I disagree with you. There should’ve been like a compatibility survey or something, ya know so people don’t end up choking each other with their handcuffs.”

“That’s good to know, I guess. Who are you partnered with anyway? That’s quite an idea. Imagine how much more interesting it’d be if you shared similar taste in music, movies, stances on handcuffs.. you know, the usual. I’m surprised my partner didn’t choke me out.”

“You probably will. I wouldn’t know though, I think I don’t follow you on Twitter. And I don’t pay any attention to Twitter drama either.” Liz shrugged. “They have ham and cheese. That’s what we ate.”

“Damn, Liz.  You’re missing out on quality twitter arguing, though I don’t think I’ve done any of that recently. Do you pay attention to real life drama then?” He asked. “That sounds great. Plain but great.”

“So is there like an afterparty or something? Preferably where we’re not handcuffed to strangers. But at this point, I’m not picky.”

“People usually make their own after parties. So you’re telling me you don’t like being handcuffed? Shocker. I don’t know who thought this would be a great way to get to know people. I barely talk to my partner.”

“I hope that will help. Just don’t get drunk. No actually, please do. I need few people to make fun of.” She chuckled. “I certainly will, don’t worry. It’s going alright. Filled with food and random conversations. How about you?”

“Oh, I’m most definitely going to get drunk.. I hope you find that satisfying for your evening entertainment. I’ll try to start twitter beef or something knowing me.” He scoffed.  “This is one way to ring in the back to school thing. I haven’t even cracked into the good stable yet. What do they have?”

“No need to get your panties in a twist, Jules. I really don’t have an opinion on the story and I think Magnolia is the worst person at this school. If anything, I feel sorry you’re in a bunch of drama with the devil herself.”

“I plan on drinking a lot to pass the time. No worries.” He chuckled softly, shaking his head at her next words. “A little bit, yeah. Have fun with that. Anyways, how’s the party going for you so far?”

“Listen, I don’t really have an issue with you or anything... but please... for the love of all things holy, don’t get involved in any drama while you are cuffed to me for the next little bit. I live my life under the radar and I’m happy with that. You, however, always seem to be into something.” His tone of voice was a confusing mixture of serious and playful.  “Deal?”

“I got Juliette. I mean, whatever... she is always the center of drama so I’m keeping a safe distance, that’s for sure. Who do you have again?”

“Mimi Marquez, really?” Cole remarked with a slight laugh, appearing in the doorway to Raven’s room in the Tri Pi house. He wasn’t exactly feeling welcomed in the chat room and Raven was someone he definitely wouldn’t mind spending alone time with.
