sansolramare: a gender that feels like a person standing in waist-deep, teal water. the water gently laps at their torso and arms, and sunlight glints off of the crests of the waves as far as the eye can see. their toes are buried in soft, white sand, and each tiny movement they make creates clouds of sand around their ankles. as they turn their face upwards towards the sun, appreciating its warmth, they feel something smooth bump against their fingers - a stingray, playfully asking to be petted. they stroke its back, and another stingray appears at their other hand, then another, and another, until dozens of the creatures are swimming eagerly around them. they laugh and try to pat each stingray as they glide through the water. soon, a school of fish swims past, and the stingrays pursue it to feed. as the person turns to watch them go, their foot hits something hidden in the sand. they plunge one arm into the water to grab it and hold it up to see a light-colored scallop shell, a few grains of sand still clinging to its edges. they joyfully pocket the shell and, with a smile playing across their face, swim off to explore the waters further.
