hi iām jaime it/they 22 and iām exceptionally self-indulgent please your stay
coincidentally had this in my camera roll
how did you get so good at writing? i know this is a very nebulous question but i didnt know how else to formulate it
I'm still early in my writing career. There's a lot to learn!
It's all practice. Understand that writing as a craft and writing as an art are two different but overlapping skill sets. Both require having a finished draft to edit. All writing is re-writing.
I tell this annecdote a lot. But I had a friend who re-wrote the first 25% of a screenplay eight different times. Meaning, he wrote 2 screenplays with of words, but only had a quarter of a screenplay to show for it. Don't hit that backspace until you've finished the first draft.
It helps to just write the most indulgent chuuni shit possible. Whether that be sword and sordery drek, or ridiculous romance, or knockoff Foster Wallace polshost. You need to love your first draft enough to continue writing it. Have enough of an ego that you keep writing. It is the only way to get better.
tbh when I was there I thought the punk scene in omelas was kinda eh

Yes, I have a lot of fears about this
Yes, I'm fairly worried about this
Yes, I have some concerns about this
No, I don't believe it will happen within that time frame. Maybe later on?
No, I think ai WILL be used but WON'T push out human workers
No, I don't believe ai could take over my job and do it well
No, I don't believe people would PAY for ai to do my job in the same way
No, I don't believe ai could take over my job/career path at all
No, I don't fear it, I WANT this to happen
I'm not sure/other/I don't or can't work/show results

you need to be tolerancemaxxing. you need to be smoking addy and popping weed. you need to be drinking coffee before you go to bed. no substance in the universe should be able to affect you. you need to be taking two breaths for the price of one just to oxygenate your blood because it's so tolerant to the stuff. you need to be impervious to chemicals. you need to be completely inert
