i feel like a lot of people miss the point of dr. ratio showing off his body the way he does.

like yeah obviously it’s there to look hot. that’s not even a debate.

but also this man genuinely thinks he represents the correct way of thinking. of course he presents himself like a walking marble statue of “ideal human.” obviously the confidence aspect matters a lot. ratio isn’t shy about being seen and he’s very intentionally composed and aware of how he appears. it is perfection of form and mind.

and besides that, it’s very clearly referencing the whole idealized male form that was common aesthetic in ancient greece. he literally walks around with a marble head sometimes, brotha, what more do you want????

people talk about ratio like he’s this super distant, unreadable character so this revealing this design should not fit him, but honestly he really isn’t that hard to understand if you actually listen to what he says instead of getting stuck on the surface vibe.

ratio is extremely transparent about what he values: knowledge, improvement, calling people out when they’re being intellectually lazy, etc. the man literally explains his philosophy constantly. he’s not hiding in the way people think he is, he’s just not emotionally soft or overly warm. he is closed off in some ways, but he’s not obscure. this design makes perfect sense for him.

Aequitas’ thoughts on Aventurine and Topaz?~

aventurine: her self-proclaimed rich uncle. he spoils her ROTTEN and aequitas can never really refuse his elaborate (yet surprisingly thoughtful) gifts.

topaz: knows her as aventurine’s coworker. they don’t have many interactions, but i think they’d get along (numby would be a common topic for their conversations xd)
