@combatant-noir
She couldn’t help but notice there was someone watching her eat. “Can I help you with something..?”
Cue awkward laughter. " Oh, hello there. -- No, everything is fine, i assure you. " His words were subsequently contrasted with abdomen noises. Ah, hunger was such an obnoxious thing.
…Were they? Of course his general memory of his classes were a blur aside from his usual circle of friends. Even the subjects themselves seemed fuzzy until the test—a miracle in itself. Needless to say, his memory of his supposed classmate was sketchy at best.
❝Right….Uh, what’s your name again?❞
Of course, Sheik was used to such disregards. He was, if not often, absent from class after all. Eyes squinted irritably as the other queried his name. Audible grumbling could be heard from the young teen before actual words skidded through now parted lips.
" It's Sheik Kaoru. I sit next to that big guy, Sato -- Something. " he huffed. Shoulders slouched and arms hung to his sides like cooked spaghetti. A clear indication that he was far from content.
❝Did anyone ever teach you how to start conversations with strangers? ‘Cause that’s not it.❞
Strangers?
Oh, how the bullet pierces his soul.
" Were in the same class at school, Kurosaki. Were practically neighbors. "
Quietly watches her eat. -- It had such a familiar aroma.
❝…Is that a metaphor for something? Otherwise that sounds pretty disgusting.❞
" It means i ate it -- And you can't have any unless it comes out the other way. "
" You can't have my smoothie filled doughnut.....It's a part of me now. "
" Uwhuaaaa!! -- Your outfit is so radical! " He shouted excitedly, whilst sights contently fell upon the shorter male's obscure attire. Big darkened red eyes observed it's several patterns thoroughly as fist curled hands lifted and hung near his chest.
" -- Such hoodie game should be illegal! -- I'm envious. "
It was horrendously raining outside, thus Sheik immediately took shelter in the nearest settlement. This time around, it was an olden bricked castle atop a steep hill. It stood over a cemetery filled with an eerie ambiance, actually. Not his first choice, but it is customary to accept a roof no matter it's state or location. Sure, he hadn't had an idea onto where he had ended up, but it was far more preferable than being drenched in the weather's spiteful rage.
A loud shrieked scream resonated in one of the countless rooms as the sound of thunder abruptly caught the boy off guard. The following lightning had illuminated a monster like status that hid in an obscure corner. -- It certainly did not take him long to abscond the room and run across the endless corridors.
" I'm going to diiiiiieeeeeee! "
Help me believe it's not the real me.
A single brow raised at the words and the obvious disappointment in the boy’s voice. Honestly, Kaname had absolutely no idea why he would want a visor like his own, but alas; he didn’t really care either.
"I don’t think it’s hard to find one like this, if you really need it." Kaname wasn’t the only blind person in the world, after all, right? Plus, they were not even specific for blindness.
As he listened attentively to the man's response, Sheik had noticed a glint of pure lavender hued optics reflecting behind the eye wear. A momentous indication onto why this foreign visitant concealed his eyes. He did not wear it to simply gain style. No -- he wore it for his incapable sense of sight. Rather it's against the sun, people's comments or even from a reality he didn't quite accept, it was wholly inconsiderate of Sheik to ask such questions so optimistically. -- He could only imagine the obstacles this fellow had to endure through out his life.
Expression sunk into a solemn gaze as he thought on what to say. Perhaps ignoring the aspect would be best. Even he knew how it was to be different than most, and the feeling only worsens when it's noticed. Licking his lips, he'd part the brims and exhaled an erratic inquiry. " Would you mind accompanying me to the emporiums? We could search for one together. " he asked with a tint of sheepish tonality.
" -- Of course, only if you want too. "
Blocks. Idiot. That was fresh bread. Stuffed with meat. You just missed out on delicious food.
That was fresh? Impossible. It tasted awful, like the infamous cafeteria food in school. Initiates the pout expressed face, because lying is terrible, friend.
