Seems that her gun has gone off by accident and thankfully for her it was a pop and not a bang. He would have fired if his instincts told him she was trying to shoot him. It was how he had stayed alive for so long.
After the confetti and drifted down, some of it getting in Jigen’s beard, he sighed and lowered his gun, put it away. Then he reached forward and pat the woman’s head in apology.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to scare ya, just had a lot of bad experiences with guns getting pointed at me.”
She watched as the confetti fell, eyes following the tiny pieces of shredded colourful paper flutter slowly down...some getting in the other’s beard, which Darcy of course coughed out a chuckle or two at as some had gotten in her hair too.
Only for them to fall once more upon feeling the warmth of the man’s hand...patting her?
“Hey, hey...I know when I’m in the wrong, bucko.” She gave a small laugh, waving off his hand before returning the favour by flicking off any confetti that had gotten caught up in the gunman’s beard.
“Sometimes I ferget I’m not on stage, bad habits die hard...hopefully not literally, heh.”

Unfortunately, it was a bad joke, for the second she had drawn her gun he had pulled his out of a conditioned will to stay alive. Since his arm was longer his gun barrel went more or less against her forehead as well, his expression hard.
“Best not to play around, miss,” he said firmly, “Because this one is quite real.”
“WOAH-HO-HO THERE--” There was no way Darcy was going to be able to weasel out of this one, arms flying up in protest almost immediately as she could practically feel the cool barrel against her forehead.
“I-It’s a joke, a joke!” It was rare for the woman to get nervous and stutter but damn, a real gun? Who wouldn’t be at least a little bit anxious? “Didn’t realize y’had guns pointed at ye’ before, my bad! My ba--”
Pop.
She was soon interrupted by the sound, and the sight, of confetti.
“Yeah, what ya need?”

“Was wonderin’ whether or not yer gun’s real or not, because--” With one swift motion the comedienne drew her own gun. Fake, of course, since it was only a stage prop.
“Except mine expels out fun instead of death.”

Nepthyne tried and failed to contain their giggles, it was always so amusing seeing the reactions to the differences between their human and dragon forms.
“Right? It’s perfect for blending in and being unassuming!” They stated with a smug smirk, someone please take down their ego a notch.
“Thank you for the offer to help set up shop, to be honest the only thing I need help with is to set up promotional signs around town. The shop itself is actually enchanted to appear whenever or where ever I need it.” Nepthyne wiggled their fingers during the explanation imitating using magic.
They looked confused for a minute after Darcy mentioned being hounded by people, not understanding until the wink and nudge, “oh uhh… I doubt that’ll be a problem.” They scratched the back of their neck sheepishly.
Well weren’t they the cutest dragon Darcy ever did see? Just hearing the other’s handful of giggles almost made the comedienne fall victim to them, clearing her throat and giving one of her regular ‘ol chuckles instead.
“Lucky fer yerself I’ve made a good amount of promotional posters in the past, so don’t worry about me bein’ inexperienced or anythin’!” If anything it reminded her to update her own posters...that could wait though, seeing as she was eager to help the ‘lil shopkeep here.
“No need to be so humble.” Not really seeing how Nepthyne was confused she let it slide, spinning on her back heel away from then. “So, just where are ye’ thinkin’ of settin’ up?”
It wasn’t the comedienne’s intention to wound the...err, wounded man, with her choice of words. If anything it was an automatic response to keep herself from freaking out, swallowing down her own pride and shone a smile nonetheless.
“Sure, I can patch ye’ up.” Cleaning up dry blood, and fresh blood, wasn’t all that complicated...however he was wanting to stitch himself back together? That could certainly prove to be an interesting show.
“I’ve only got m’ bottle of water here ‘nd m’shirt that I can use as bandages until yer ready to do whatever it is yer plannin’ to do, if that’s fine with yerself.”

“As a profession? No.” Darcy just had to pose once she felt eyes on her, jutting out a hip as she flexed her arm out while her other hand caressed the muscle. “As a hobby, however? Tempting, tempting...why, do I really look like the smack-down type?”
She couldn’t help but chuckle, taking what he said as a compliment.

“Will do.” Nepthyne affirmed before closing their eyes and taking a deep breath.
They started by picturing their inner power and aura, letting move to surround their entire body. Their horns and the spikes along their back began to glow and crackle with energy.
Nepthyne body started to morph into the form they were picturing in their head, until it was finished with a bright blast of silent lighting.
“All done, Ta-Da!!!” At 5′6 and posing with arms wide open was Nepthyne human form clad in a simple green t-shirt and denim jeans.
“Well, whada’ya think?”
Darcy tried her best to desperately not peek through her fingers, but the sensible part of her brain kept the mandibles firmly pressed against her eyes until given the word that it was safe to look.
--Then a voice called out with the same inflection Nepthyne had, hands slowly sliding down her face and back down to see what was once a dragon...
“Ah, human!”
“I mean-- Whew, man! Y’ sure are human!” Trying to play off her sudden outburst as a slip of the tongue, chuckling to herself at how silly she sounded whilst taking in Nepthyne’s new look. “Yer a bit smaller than I am now, ain’t that a hoot?!” The comedienne held back the urge to ruffle their hair, instead opting to step a little closer.
“Now that yer human would ye’ like me to help set up your shop? That is if yer not hounded by girls, guys and other folks wantin’ to see ye’.” Darcy playfully winked before nudging them softly.

Knowing his next customer is gonna go on a date, Jotaro doesn’t let Sora stylist the other hair or it will be worse, if his step-sister in his place by now.
After checking some style that the other wants from the book, he gives them a seat, gently put a towel around her neck and put a long fabric on them to avoids some cutting hair falls on their clothes although he doesn’t need to cut a lot.
“ Someone special? ” He rewinds of what the other wants to asked him. “ I do have one. Why? ”
Darcy had booked to get her hair done up all fancy-like in advance, nearly arriving late thanks to some unexpected traffic...which turned out to be some football game causing it, something she never really cared for in the first place.
Thankfully however, she made it just in time as the comedienne was now sat upon one of the many chairs in the salon as the barber came up from behind and began to work his magic.
“Just curious.” The woman mused, happy enough that the other was humouring her with conversation. “I’ll tell ye’ about my potential partner-fer-life in return...perhaps ye’ can even give me some tips.”
Darcy was mostly curious on what sort of tips he would even give to her...not that she needed any, of course.

Nepthyne threw back their head with a hearty laugh from Darcy’s excitement, they were beginning to feel excited them self.
“Yes, it would be wise to stand back,” Nepthyne moved sit on to their haunches.
“You might also want to partially cover your eyes or put on any sunglasses if you have them. It’s about to become a little bit brighter.”
Man, she really hoped that that the two of them could stay friends. Darcy will have to eventually head home to see her family before going overseas again...but for now she heeded Nepthne’s words, hopping some steps back upon the sand.
“I’ll try not to peak.” Complying as hands covered her eyes, chuckling as she did so.
“Just tell me when it’s safe t’look, aye?”

So they were kindred spirits in regard to travel it would seem. “ Home is where the hear is yes?” They mused out loud, thoughts a visiting their own mother tailing through their head.
“A comedienne huh? That’ is good job, the world needs more people who can bring smiles and laughter!”

The comedienne hummed whilst giving her head a nod, smile almost turning Cheshire Cat-like thanks to the following comment. Any compliment to her line of work always made Darcy’s day...no, week. Cancels out all the hecklers she’s had in the past.

“--Yes.” That was a quick answer for you, not even bothering to hide her excitement now. “Would ye’ like me t’stand back, or?”

Nepthyne straightened up a little at the returned comment with pride.
“Thank you. I’ve been here for a few years, I tend to move around every so often if I feel I have stayed long enough.” They paused in thought, giving the area a brief survey. “ If I travel to a place I feel I will like I will settle down there for a time and open up my shop for a time.” Nepthyne leaned in conspiratorially like they were sharing a secret with wink. “In human form of course, can’t cause a panic.”
“Where is your home? What is it like?”
That...more or less was how Darcy was. Somewhat like a vagabond, venturing forth as to look for new and exciting things...in this case however, it was just a one-off day-trip in her home country. “I travel from country-to-country myself but instead of openin’ shops, I learn about the humour ‘nd shows said place has to offer...comedienne, by trade.” She gave a saucy ‘lil wink back, the minx.
Had to get that in somewhere.
“I actually came back to visit m’family fer a while, they live about an hour away from here.” She paused....finishing with a soft smile. “No matter where I go though, that will always be home to me.”
C’mon Darcy, quit with the sentimental mumbo jumbo.
“But hey, what’s this about yer human form?” Curiosity, excitement and a little bit of giddiness could be seen plastered on her face. “Can ye’ transform by will alone?"

Nepthyne moved to stand lightly shaking the sand off them; they proceeded to give a small bow as trying to extend one of their claws for a handshake would be terribly awkward.
“ Well met Darcy Quinn, My name is Nepthyne”
Getting a compliment from the dragon before her made Darcy’s smile twang up, in both gratitude and in an egotistical manner. The comedienne couldn’t help but let out a hearty laugh...just at the situation as a whole.
And that this dragon, Nepthyne, complimented her. She wouldn’t let it go since hey, it’s not everyday you get called nice things by a mythical creature.
“Well met indeed, Nepthyne! ‘nd I’ve got t’say that ye’ve got a pretty wonderful name yerself.” Darcy was already coming up with nicknames..but not now, no need to further chance her luck.
“So...how long have ye’ been here?” She wanted to inquire out of general curiosity, only to quickly add on: “--I’m only visitin’ fer the time bein; goin’ home early tomorrow.”
Perhaps Nepthyne was similar to the comedienne in that regard?
