God I love getting to paint in STISAU. My favorite ever.

I’m afraid I don’t have any :’) my blorbos have always been canon characters because usually when my brain hyperfixates on a character, that character has to be from a media / source material that I first consume and then grow attached to. so I never make my own oc 🥲

What do you do when your fandoms no longer bring you joy? How do you find new fandoms when nothing out there seems worth loving?

unfortunately I don’t “find new fandom”. new fandom finds me. like, whenever I hyperfixate on a character, it’s always unexpected. I watch a movie or a tv show, without ever expecting that to be a new fandom for me, if I don’t hyperfixate on it then I’m just a casual viewer. but sometimes my brain will go “this is your new fandom now” all on its own, and that’s how I get into new fandom.

usually my fandom never stops bringing me joy until/unless my brain finds a new fandom to hyperfixate on and the old one fades away. I still love my old fandoms, so technically they still bring me joy, my brain just chooses what it hyperfixates on, and it’s always one fandom / one ship at a time.

After 46 years alone in space, finding a noisy human must honestly be so reassuring for Rocky. Like, Grace is constantly moving and making all sorts of sounds, like his breathing and heartbeat, that let Rocky know he is alive. Rocky's crew went to sleep and he couldn't be sure if they would wake up, but with a human? Rocky can just make noise and Grace wakes up immediately.
