Charles Xavier love story

What? What the hell? Why on earth would they have a romance between Charles and Moira? It makes absolutely no sense! Their chemistry was awful and their scenes were cringe worthy. When they said they were bringing Moira back, I knew they were going to do this shit. God forbid they would bring in an awesome female character just for the sake of it, no a woman can only be brought in to be a love interest. They have so many characters that they'll ruin, and they have Jean and Scott for a love story, which they don't even need, but they put Charles with Moira not because it makes sense but purely because she is the only woman his age who isn't his sister (Raven). They're only doing this because so many people think Charles and Erik are in love with each other, but no, you can't allow people to think that, because it is still the 1950s, apparently. I'm not even saying they should make cherik officially canon. They don't have to. All they should have done was not give fake girlfriends to them. I'm not even looking forward to this movie anymore. If Charles and Moira date, I don't care what else happens, I'll hate the movie.
