So as some of you may know it was the amazing @jeeno2‘s birthday recently. So @goodqueenalys and I teamed up to do a little something. So may I present the Doctor Who au that was promised, in which the Doctor takes the form of a different Stark each regeneration, or at least that’s the idea. Happiest belated birthday jeeno!

He looked into the heart of the T.A.R.D.I.S and the T.A.R.D.I.S looked into him, all that power. He never knew he could have power at all, not until the Doctor appeared. Robb, that’s what he called himself.

He would never be sure if they met by chance, if the stuff of nightmares chasing after him that one fateful night was always going to be there, or if somehow the stars aligned and brought them together. Jon thought the man was half-mad; there they were running away running away from monsters and Robb was laughing. Not the nervous sort either, a buoyant bark of a laugh that crinkled his face.

In the same vein as @snowsinthenorth , my fandom journey began in late 2013 after I finished reading the books, I was at a particularly tough point with my mental health. I found a little nook in the fandom where people were shipping my two favorite characters, and it made me feel less alone. And soon I was comfortable enough to start writing.

The first thing I wrote was a Harry Potter AU. It was the first thing I’d published online in 10 years (thanks fanfiction.net). I felt comfortable enough to write a multi-chapter fic, that’s not to say I felt confident in my writing, but after seeing so many wonderful people saying fic is for fun, I had fun.

This fandom has given me so many things, I’m not leaving. But as @snowsinthenorth just said in the group chat we’ve had with @lydiamartenism since 2014 “it feels like the end of an era.” So here’s an appreciation post about this once very small space that made me feel like myself again.
