IâM ALIVE.Â
APA
STARTER CALL
chickenwuss:
âwhat are you talking about? i am organized!â organized more on the chaotic scale, buuut he didnât have to know that.Â
âiâm a damn dream chaser!â
âListen, Iâm a ghost so I can see through everything.â
See how transparent he is? Literally?
Iâm alive.Â
yaminorei:
âAnythingâŚright away,â Rei stared at the man then glance around as even the regulars started to give the man room. Then while it took a moment even violet eyes were wide as it sunk in⌠she recognized Serizawa Kamo despite them having never met properly before. It resulted in a practiced low bow while she held a tray to her chest. Though turning she already saw the shop owner heading towards the back of the shop as well for a quick check on just was about to be served.
âThis is our best matcha and the ownerâs wife prepared these dango just a short while agoâŚâ setting out the steaming cup and a tray of skewers to go with it, her northern accent creeping out as she kept her tone formal. Even bowing to him while keeping her guard up. âI do hope you enjoy our shopâs fare.â
Of course the restaurant was going to be paid in full later, in case he got drunk and wrecked the place again. But he is as sober comes , though his reputation precedes him, even when he has not set food so much outside his own home for many, weeks. Perhaps the sumo incident set a standard for how much a tea house can truly handle.Â
 âMy thanks.â
The whole store was empty now, but with coins scattered on the table. But luck would have it, that sumoâs enter the store.Â
Oh.Â
listlesshermit:
âRight.â
That was what he was afraid of. He should really just phone the HQ and get the people who were actually willing to deal with this.
On the other hand, he now knew that something big was in the works. It was a valuable piece of information whether he decided to report it or not.
Then again, the ghost could be lying. There were a lot of trickster types among them, that much he knew. And the lady hadnât even said a word yet.
âSo, you donât want to talk about whatâs troubling you, you donât want to talk about why youâre here. Thereâs virtually no reason for me to be here. If I left right now, what would you do? Just wait until your show started? Sounds awfully counterproductive for someone who wants to be entertained.â
A graceful shrug of shoulders , being a ghost meant that things like body movement had to be forced, a ghost could stay still for all everyone knows unless they had the personality in their life to be a restless one. Him? There were a lot of regrets tying him down, and now that those regrets could not be satisfied, he is doomed to wander eternally. But at the very least....Â
His eyes briefly wander at his partner. She was the only one here who could leave any time. She most likely.....Â
If only she would say a word.Â
âYou could. No one can stop you right now.  And your still young, you have plenty of things  to do.â
starter call!
 âSake!â
taoiist:
é 潤 â; âI see.â
âUnfortunately I still canât see how that has anything to do with me. After all, I am a Daoshi and I donât see any bodies around here, and resurrection is a lot of trouble.â
âYour in a graveyard and you donât see any bodies?   Unless of course you need them to be outside the dirt   than thats understandable. I hope you find what ever it is   your looking for.â
And die in the dirt.Â
taoiist:
é 潤 â; âI donât understand your concern, After all, you donât seem to be chained here, you could leave.â
Not that she really cared much- that sort of talk honestly didnât work on her. She knew her own usefulness and at the moment, it was scarce.Â
âAs I said, Iâm no shaman.â
âThat is true.  But turning a  blind eye to something   I see distasteful, even  when I cannot do much  is disgusting in itself.â
A lot of disgusting people today.Â
taoiist:
é 潤 â; âIâm not sure what youâre expecting, honestly. I am not a shaman, so no matter what you end up possessing, thereâs nothing I can do. And it also isnât really my problem.â
Honestly no matter what happened, she could always leave the cemetery.
Well, someone is certainly useless in this situation. Not that he could force a duck to be a horse now.Â
âWell, Iâm sure other shamans would come in eventually.   Hopefully they can help.â
taoiist:
é 潤 â; âI cannot.â
Though today she was all for providing only short answers, there was a pang of regret as she admitted her own powerlessness. Unfortunately without her companion, she wasnât much good to anyone. Unless there were physical bodies involved, of course, but she was assured that they all rested six feet under her shoes.
 ....
âIf you allow me to briefly possess a item, maybe  I can damage the ghost. As I am right now, Iâm useless   against this kind of enemy, but if we work together.â
Sadly this is a choice.Â
âWe could defeat that annoying beast.â
taoiist:
é 潤 â; She wasnât sure she appreciated the inquisitiveness of the stranger, honestly. Though it was to be expected; the souls of the deceased tended do act whichever way they pleased on account of the fact that they no longer had anything to lose.Â
Or because they were bored.Â
âIndeed, there is.â
Not that she was under any obligation to share.
Curiosity was all well and good but if it becomes too much, it might lead to the government of a country being overthrown. He covers his face slightly with his war fan, aware of the other spirits that are trickling in due to the fact that a mortal could see their spiritual form.Â
âWell Its none of my business.  Iâm just a traveling ghost that  is merely resting on this barren  ground. But I donât suppose you  can defeat the annoying ghost  would you.â
taoiist:
é 潤 â; âNo, it most certainly does not.â
Perhaps she was a little too unreasonably annoyed at the comment, but she couldnât help but feel the need to correct the stranger on their statement.
âIâm no shaman. I am a Daoshi.â
âAh, well I suppose theres that.â
A shame, it would have been nice to have a physical body again. But than again it was another shame that had to be ignored for now. The ghost of the historical figure merely floated above a empty grave.Â
âIs that a reason than, that your in a grave yard.â
listlesshermit:
âBut arenât ghosts the souls that have something holding them down? There has to be a reason you werenât able to move on in the first place.â
He was really not equipped to deal with this. Exorcizing required negotiations and coaxing out the answers. Guesswork, too. None of which he was interested in.
And with the ones as old as two centuries there was no guarantee that the request was even fulfillable anymore.
âIâll have to disappoint you then. Nothing exciting ever happens here. Unless thereâs something waiting for us?â
Were ghosts attracted to sites of future disasters?
âThere are too many regrets to name right now.â
It would be counter productive if he said them all right now , so he would leave them be for now and wait for the next time he could complain about it, which would be never at all. Sometimes people need to shut up for the greater good of things, the long run of your nature would be judged most harshly after all.Â
âA lot of ghosts would be coming in to see the show.  I hope you can entertain as much as we want to.  But anyways, thats not why Imâ here.â
He snaps his fan shut.Â
âBut you donât need to know that extra fact right now.â
taoiist started following you
âSo you are a legitimate shaman.  Does this mean I can possess you  or fight again if you allow me to   enter your body.â
yaminorei liked your post âStarter call with this old ghost. â
The girl was young in ways he used to be, but than that was the past and this is the present. Why he could go and have sake, he doesnât fee like inflicting his wrath towards the common folks again and again.Â
 âAnything good.â
A lot of patrons scattered away when they noticed who came in.
Starter call with this old ghost.Â
