“Anything…right away,” Rei stared at the man then glance around as even the regulars started to give the man room. Then while it took a moment even violet eyes were wide as it sunk in… she recognized Serizawa Kamo despite them having never met properly before. It resulted in a practiced low bow while she held a tray to her chest. Though turning she already saw the shop owner heading towards the back of the shop as well for a quick check on just was about to be served.

“This is our best matcha and the owner’s wife prepared these dango just a short while ago…” setting out the steaming cup and a tray of skewers to go with it, her northern accent creeping out as she kept her tone formal. Even bowing to him while keeping her guard up. “I do hope you enjoy our shop’s fare.”

Of course the restaurant was going to be paid in full later, in case he got drunk and wrecked the place again. But he is as sober comes , though his reputation precedes him, even when he has not set food so much outside his own home for many, weeks. Perhaps the sumo incident set a standard for how much a tea house can truly handle.

That was what he was afraid of. He should really just phone the HQ and get the people who were actually willing to deal with this.

On the other hand, he now knew that something big was in the works. It was a valuable piece of information whether he decided to report it or not.

Then again, the ghost could be lying. There were a lot of trickster types among them, that much he knew. And the lady hadn’t even said a word yet.

“So, you don’t want to talk about what’s troubling you, you don’t want to talk about why you’re here. There’s virtually no reason for me to be here. If I left right now, what would you do? Just wait until your show started? Sounds awfully counterproductive for someone who wants to be entertained.”

A graceful shrug of shoulders , being a ghost meant that things like body movement had to be forced, a ghost could stay still for all everyone knows unless they had the personality in their life to be a restless one. Him? There were a lot of regrets tying him down, and now that those regrets could not be satisfied, he is doomed to wander eternally. But at the very least....

Though today she was all for providing only short answers, there was a pang of regret as she admitted her own powerlessness. Unfortunately without her companion, she wasn’t much good to anyone. 道潤 –; She wasn’t sure she appreciated the inquisitiveness of the stranger, honestly. Though it was to be expected; the souls of the deceased tended do act whichever way they pleased on account of the fact that they no longer had anything to lose.

Or because they were bored.

Perhaps she was a little too unreasonably annoyed at the comment, but she couldn’t help but feel the need to correct the stranger on their statement.

A shame, it would have been nice to have a physical body again. But than again it was another shame that had to be ignored for now. The ghost of the historical figure merely floated above a empty grave.

And with the ones as old as two centuries there was no guarantee that the request was even fulfillable anymore.

It would be counter productive if he said them all right now , so he would leave them be for now and wait for the next time he could complain about it, which would be never at all. Sometimes people need to shut up for the greater good of things, the long run of your nature would be judged most harshly after all.

“A lot of ghosts would be coming in to see the show. I hope you can entertain as much as we want to. But anyways, thats not why Im’ here.”

He snaps his fan shut.

The girl was young in ways he used to be, but than that was the past and this is the present. Why he could go and have sake, he doesn’t fee like inflicting his wrath towards the common folks again and again.
